I got my freckles removed once before. The dr used the same laser as tattoo removal it worked fine, the freckles were gone but I didn't like how it was healing (discolored/Asian skin) instead of dark spots, there were white spots. A year or two later my freckles are back. I was thinking an IPL but saw a lot of before& after photos that recovered badly. What other laser? Whats best? Is IPL best for freckle removal? Feedback is very much appreciated!
I bought an IPL machine with the below specifications for the purpose of reducing age spots, under-eye veins and helping with pigmentation. It is only advertised as a hair removal product but I know that IPL works for the other reasons as well. It's not as strong as an IPL machine used in a spa but I'm wondering if it can still work for what I'm using it for. Irradiation wavelength: 530nm: Flashes times: 999,999: Voltage: 110V-240V: Power: 36W:
I have age spot, pigmentation, freckle on cheeks & some light acne scars on chin. Which treatment is better: combine IPL with Chemical Peel (2 weeks alternate each treatment) or combine IPL with Microdermabration (also 2 weeks alternate treatment)? MedSpa consultant recommended me to do IPL combine with Chemical Peel treatments (2 weeks alternate on each treatment) for more effective result (estimate about 6 combo of these treatments). Should I do PRP after finish those above treatments?
I had my first IPL treatment 15 days ago. I went b/c I have some age spots in one area of my face that bother me. The technician did my whole face to even things out. I'm totally regretting it. I was very red the first day or two, then got the brown spots that peeled. Today (2 weeks+) I seem to be peeling slightly again (photo below) but really my main concern is that I have all these white stripes all over my face! I'm afraid it's scarring. Any advice is appreciated; I'm panicking!
I received 1 IPL treatment for dark spots and did not wear a hat after the 6th day of having the treatment. I also wore a sunblock that was SPF 30 instead of SPF 40 for five days. I have several spots now, and there is more hyperpigmentation than there used to be. I would like to get IPL again to get rid of these spots, but I have some questions. With each subsequent IPL treatment does your skin usually get more hyperpigmenation, or does it repair the skin permanently as long as you stay out of the sun?
I tried five IPL treatments (at two different centers) for the removal of age spots on my face. I had no results.... in fact, the spots are now much darker than when I started! What would be the best option for me to try next? The treatments were fairly aggressive, with redness, swelling and a burning sensation for about 3 days after each treatment.

I have some sun spots, brown age spots, and freckles on face and want to remove them. Read some recommendations that IPL is good and safe. I decided to take IPL treatments and so far have 3 IPL treatments, but don't see any improvement. Am I not suitable for IPL treatment? Should I try fractional laser treatment? or any suggestion. I am Asian skin and located in Boston. Your answers are very appreciated. Thanks a lot.
