I had an ipl done on my chest 5 days ago and was burned very badly. Every day it looks significantly worse. Is this normal for it to look worse each day and not better? PLEASE WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP THIS BURN MARK HEAL?
I am devastated my Surgeon gave me an ipl treatment for stretch marks I developed after breast implants and he left a terrible burn mark on me. It burned so bad and welted up. He just brushed it off and said it will get better in time. It is very red and raised. I am so upset and worried it will leave a keloid scar. What can I do to help this?
Wondering if anybody has suggestions. I had an IPL session on my face two weeks ago. A few days after I started getting little bumps all over my face and some acne spots. This is my 4th treatment and have had no issues before other than the dark spots getting darker. I only exfoliated a week after and now my skin is horribly broken out in bumps and redness and pimples. The treatment office hasnt seen a reaction like this. I did fly a transatlantic flight the next day and not sure if that made a difference with dryness etc. what can I use to calm this down?!
The therapist has suggested I buy a cream to follow the treatment but it costs $140 for 10ml Is there anything other I can use that you all could advice post treatment, like coconut oil, bio oil, coco butter anything that is cheaper than 140 bucks as I have contacted the retail direct who don't sell to customers & it should only be $80 but still that's 80 bucks I dont have! PLEASE ADVISE THANK YOUUUU
I read that you should use moisturizer after IPL, but when I had it done, my doctor told me NOT to use any to help speed up the "clearing" of the coffee grounds. Sure enough they all flaked off within 7 days, AND I had a lot. I also keep reading that it takes people 2-3 weeks to clear the coffee grounds when using moisturizer. So I'm confused as to what's up with the differing advice. ???
