I am 51. I had an IPL two days ago. Some parts of my face are still swollen especially under my eyes. (The brochure said swelling for a few hours or a day, or more. But the technician did not prepare me for any swelling.) Is this normal? Will it go away? It seems like the skin under my eyes will have more wrinkles due to the puffiness. Did I create a bigger problem?
After treatment I got red stripes on one side of my face that overnight turned to brownish. I feel no pain or ever did, wondering if the stripe skin will just exfoliate off? Stopped by my dermatologist center that did the treatment and the PA said looked great, I should see good results and striping was normal. Hoping this is the case and this is only temporary.
I had IPL for my red marks 2 days ago. i literally don't see any improvement at all. she said i need 5 treatments. i got a feeling this stuff aint working or her ipl laser isn't good? are there any better / more effective treatments available for red marks? i also got some scars with the red marks. so maybe its better to do another treatment? i really need to get rid of the red acne marks / scars before MAY. pls advice what is the best thing to do? also what are ur thoughts on yag laser 4 acne?
How do I deal with it? Can i still use hydrocortisone in an open wound? Or can I use an ointment in an open wound? If I can, what would be the suggested brand. The spa is closed on weekends so I can't seem for an advice from them.
I had the IPL photofacial done two days ago. Now, I have large dark spots and a general dirty appearance to my skin. I thought most result in small spots of pigment rises but the entire area is hyper pigmented. The skin does not yet feel dry, though I am applying and reapplying aloe gel and sunscreen face lotion. I am nervous that this has just pulled up pigment that won't flake or fall off. Should I be worried or does this progress look normal for the 2nd day post treatment?
I just had an IPL photo facial done yesterday using the Alma laser 360. I have 3 brown small hormones spots on my forehead & that it the main reason i did it. Today I have six coffee ground spots on my face that look like blackheads. The hormone spots haven't done anything. My question is will these brown spots continue to come up or does it always happen the day after? The three spots on my forehead haven't done anything. I'm trying to figure out if this even worked for me.thank you so much in advance!
I had my IPL treatment done 36 hours ago. Swelling begun after 12 hours and so far has not subside. The swelling is on eyes and all over my face. I took a shower as soon as I got home and put night moisturizer. I am currently taking 50 mg of benadryl tablet and using cold compression. My face is hot to the touch. What should zi do? How long will this last?
