I paused my Invisalign care during Covid due to high risk health concerns, but I continued my payment plan. I had only received a few of the aligners. I contacted the office to get back on track with the treatment, assuming I would have to start from the beginning, but the office said they no longer have the trays. What would they do with all of those trays? Do they throw them away or send them back to Invisalign? Can Invisalign reproduce the missing aligners based on the first order?
First photo is the day I finished Invisalign treatment. They look great, staring straight at myself in what I can only view as 2D. Weeks have gone by and I noticed I do not like the position of my upper right lateral incisor. I took a second mirror and placed it at an 80 angle against a mirror on the wall and those are photos 2 & 3. Asked ortho to address tooth 7 lateral incisor and all he did was put a dent behind my retainer on backside of that tooth. Help!
Hello, so i have veeners on my top 8 teeth and a full set on my bottom teeth. I love my smile from the front but from the side my top teeth slant inward and i have a very deep overbite. I now realize i went backwards with getting veeners before fixing my root problems first. How can my overbite and tipped front teeth be fixed without compromising my veeners?
Ive finished Invisalign treatment and have been wearing retainers every night for over a year. After about 3 months my retainers changed shape slightly, which changed the position of my teeth. Ive gone through all 3 of my retainers and each one has lost the original positioning of my teeth. Is this normal? And how often should retainers be replaced? I feel like I need another course of Invisalign treatment to refine my teeth again.
42 and looking to get Invisalign. I do have TMJ and they recommended having to pull 4 teeth. I already had wisdom teeth pulled when I was young! Please give any opinions based on pics! Thanks!! Ive had people say they think I need jaw surgery /braces :/
I have a gummy smile and would like to get Invisalign for my top and bottom teeth. I'm just not sure which procedure to have first? Should I follow up with a dental provider to have a gum reduction before I get Invisalign or does the order of procedures not matter? I also had a an Invisalign consultation a few years ago and was told I was a good candidate. I just never followed through because of the costs.
I have had bad orthodontics in the past. Because of it, it caused a severely canted smile and loss of a front tooth at 19 years old. Now at 27, I had my veneers redone and the abudment replaced (they made it much longer to hide the cant). My teeth are still canted obviously as you can see it on the bottom where there is no cosmetics to hide this. My question is, can I fix the cant with Invisalign? If the cant is fixed will my smile show the implant more? Thank you for any advice <3
Hi I just finish my trays of Invisalign but I am not satisfied. Throughout the treatment and trays I have been explaining to my orthodontist about how my bite feels uneven like one side of my teeth (right side) feels larger and longer than the left. They said my Right molar is larger than my left and they can't do anything about it. My jaw and lips are now crooked and I can't eat or do anything. It's so uncomfortable. What should I do?? It's hard to see in the pic but my teeth&lips are slanted
