No questions really since I think I’ve scoured every inch of the internet researching gastric balloons. I’m having my Orbera inserted on 11/29, and am of course a mix of emotions. Scared, excited, curious, and of course hopeful that it works. I fluctuate around 205-210 and am 5’4” with a BMI of 35. I had my GB put in 2/1/18. I haven’t been able to hold water down. I’m worried about getting Dehydrated. My other issue is that I can’t lay on my back, or right side. Anyone else dealing with this?
I had the Orbera balloon inserted on 2/9/18. Today is 2/20. I have spent the last week and 1/2 vomiting. I have barely been able to keep anything liquid much less solid down. A lot of discomfort. Despite the vomiting and lack of calorie intake the scale has not moved one ounce since the procedure. The doctor is also mystified. Has anyone else ever experienced this?
