I have hypopigmented scars behind my ears, and one on the neck crease following facelift surgery 3 years ago. I had permanent makeup applied, but it didn't cover them completely. I read that Fraxel Repair might be an option for me, but then heard that since I had permanent makeup applied, I am not a candidate. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have some acne scars on my face, most are ice pick and rolling scars. Now I know there are 3 companies that provide laser treatment: Fraxel restore/repair, Palomar fractional laser, and Deep FX and Total FX. Which among the treatments is best for me?
Hi 64 male relatively good health no chronic conditions Im interested in face procedures but non invasive ones Fraxel Repair FaceTite Ultherapy There is overlap and perhaps contraindications on combination therapy but Id like to treat the sagging and some minor acne scars and age related areas on my face and neck. The only surgical procedure I am interested in is genioasty or mentsplasty but no implants strictly autograft or osteotomy . Thank you
I would like to get a Deep FX/Total FX or Fraxel Repair in the Chicago area, and can't find ANY doctor who are doing either of these treatments... (A number of the old erbium based Fraxels and some Active FX are in use, but no Re:pair of Total FX) I have used the physician finders on both the Fraxel and Total FX websites and haven't found ANY providers in Chicago! The Total FX (actually Active FX on the website) database is woefully out of date / inaccurate, with several offices that no longer have the Active FX laser (or maybe never did?) A search for Fraxel Re:pair show NO Fraxel Re:pairs with 25 mile radius of downtown Chicago! (Plenty of the older Fraxel model around, which I don't want). I even called both companies up and talked to the telephone physician finder, but they were using the same out-of-date information that is on the website. (It seems like a physician who paid the big bucks for a laser would want the laser manufacturer to have an up to date website to refer traffic to them...) Anyway, if anyone knows of a good doctor in the greater Chicago area that can do an aggressive Re:pair or Total FX, please post the name or click my username to email me using the contact form. Thanks! Editor's Note: See Chicago Total FX provider recommendations
I'm two weeks post Fraxel Repair full face on the highest setting. I'm noticing as time goes by, I have what feels like tingly, prickly nerve pain under my skin, but it gets worse everyday. It burns, especially when I get goosebumps. My skin is very patchy red, my pores appear much larger, my skin is a strange, raw texture that makeup doesn't stick to. Under my eyes, I see pixelated tracks. My skin looked considerably better prior to treatment. I wear a good sunblock and moisturizer daily.
I have a chicken pox scar and redness scar with slight indentation caused by initially 'too aggressive' V-Beam treatment. I am advised Fraxel Repair or Youlaser. I've heard about the Fraxel Repair reputation but never heard about Youlaser. I'm sure there's a significance price difference as I read that Fraxel needs new tip head for each patient. Which of the laser I'd better undertake? I attach my scar problem pics as well. Thanks Jen
So if I am on Wellbutrin would this have any effect on the results of Fraxel Restore? I need professional opinions. The doctor said I would be fine but I am worried that this could cause the photosensitivity to be more intense and cause my dermis yo get burned. Can you please advise if what I am thinking would be true?
