I am a 60 year old female who had fraxel repair between 6-7 years ago. The result was excellent. I am looking to get it done again for lines around my mouth and lower cheeks and a couple of age spots. I am of irish descent and very fair skinned with freckiling.
I have small pin holes on my face and noticed a considerate amount of small hair growing on my face..there are also four pimples like scars below my chin line....Do i book my second treatment as for its a series of three..
I had a second round of Fraxel for my acne scars and after 9 days my cheeks have a rough, bumpy very unsightly texture to them. I hadn't had this problem the first time I had Fraxel. This rough texture is only on my cheeks (the doctor did turn the laser up for this area since scarring was the worst here). I have a few breakouts on my jawline (a side effect I also had after the first treatment) but the texture is more concerning to me. Is this normal? Will my skin ever return to normal?!
Hi, Ive had two fraxel treatments at 550 5 8passes then one last week at 850 9 8. No change for the better My derm said I'm thin skinned and this is not the best treatment for me. I also had a Sitcon micro laser peel in between which actually scared me more, and caused other issues with black eyes and vision issues (at least I think the vision issues is related due to timing). BTW my derm did not perform the treatments.
I received my 2nd Fraxel laser treatment on Monday for pigementation and light acne scarring. My 1st treatment recovery process was normal; dry, peeling and voila done in about 4 days. The 2nd treatment recovery is much different - on day 2, tiny whiteheads started sprouting all over my chin/upper lip area and I'm now quite worried that these will cause additional scarring. What can I do to eliminate these? I have not used any heavy emollients (ie, Aquafor), simply pure aloe gel.
