I saw an ad for youthology eye serum and wondered if it can possibly live up to its stated promise. Youthology website claims " What if you could turn back the hands of time and look up to ten years younger — without painful injections or surgery — AND in just 90 seconds"
My instinct says no to youthology. Anyone think youthology is worth buying?

Maybe too good to be true.
I used the product and it does work better than any product I've wasted money on. I'm a reporter with a local newspaper and I was beyond skeptical. But, Here's the deal: I haven't really figured out what the long term use would be because apparently it tightens the skin (Does that mean that it stretches it more?). Plus, you have to play around with the application of the product, it seems to take like about 5 minutes to get the full effect, and I use a water based moisturizer, let it soak in, then makeup, then a couple of sweeps, taps like the direction suggests, fan to activate the process, then don't move a facial muscle for 2 minutes, then done.
It is a tedious process, but it does work and it lasts on me for like 6 hours. There is honestly some white residue but i've worked around it with a dab of water or the water based moisturizer around the edges.
I also, by nature, do a little research, and I looked for any complaints against the company with the Better Business Bureau, or the doctor that developed the product. It was actually a good track record. The doctor is a dermatologist graduated from one of the better schools in the country. The product, as I've reviewed most of the ingredients, is about as natural as it comes, mostly herbs.
It is an interesting product. My only concern would be if long term use would tug the sensitive under eye skin so I do use it sparingly only when I go out for an important meeting...that would be my main concern, I'll do more research on it.... That's my honest opinion:)
CherehA is absolutely spot on with her description of the effectiveness of this product! She raises an interesting point though as to whether the tightening effect on the skin will stretch it over time - does anyone have any insight?
Keep in mind I'm probably the biggest skeptic of any type of product that is suppose to enhance your looks and have personally never used one until now - also I'm a guy and have always thought any guy using any type of cosmetic products was vain and soft - I hate to admit it, but I've come to rely on the benefits of this product and have been using it for a year!
I see a a few negative comments about the product, and all I have to say is read the directions and use it exactly as instructed and it will work! Also, a little goes a long way, I don't use it everyday, but when I do I use less than is recommended - if you work it in well and tap you won't get the white residue - its only when you use too much and don't work it in enough that that happens, but it's easy to remedy, and yes fanning it helps the process take quicker. I find one tube will last upwards of 3-4 months.
From what I have read, Youthology does not sound any different than a product called Sudden Change Eye Firming Serum. You can purchase it almost anywhere, drug stores, Ulta, etc., by the cheesier products. I tried it, and at first I was amazed by the results. Until, that is, I made the least bit of a facial expression that would make the surrounding eye area move, even just a little. You know the dried drool marks that can appear outside your mouth, after a good, hard sleep? Well, that is the effect. White, dried, and yuck. Or, better yet, think of dried egg whites on your skin. I won't be trying this product.
it works wonders, seriously
The stuff is phenominal! I received it last week after ordering from infomercial. About 2 months ago I was smiling and just happened to see myself in my rearview mirror and saw these really dry fine lines where my dimples are. Then I noticed the "valley" in between my eyes on my forhead. I'm only 35 but I never saw them before and it really got to me. So I have been on wrinkle cream radar mode since then. The infomercial sold me and I figured I could send it back if it didn't work.
I went right to the bathroom and put it on like they said. My valley in between my eyes completely disappeared just like that. I then went and put some on my dimple areas and they smoothed right out too. Absolutely amazing!!!!!
I came walking out of the bathroom and asked my husband if he noticed anything. He said he didn't know but I looked better- He said I looked rested and not so tired.
I told him that my wrinkles were gone and I brought him in bathroom and put it on his eyes on one side of his face. It worked so well he actually looked freaky with wrinkles only on one side of his face. It's funny now because I have to hide it or he will use it.
Sounds like this is an ad for the product, sounds fishy to me.
So is this product safe to use on your face, Do you know if there would be any long term side effects? I just have a couple of small crows feet... but i am younger and want to use something that i wont look back and wish i never used it! Thanks M
I purchased Youthology and it does work. However, I have not been able to figure out how to put make up over it. If I use it first, the make up wipes it off; if I use it after I put on make up, the make up wipes off. Even with that, I plan on purchasing the face lotions. Using the lotion alone day and morning really makes the skin look younger. If anyone has figured out how to use it at the same time as make up, please share.
They ONLY way you may use both Youthology or any other serum with foundation without having one wiping off the other is if you use a mineral foundation. Everyday minerals are very good products and you can order a free trial kit with 3 different colors of your choice plus a blush and a concealer. Can't go wrong with a deal like that !!! The powder will not wipe off the serum-:)
Hope this will help
Does youtholoy work no it does not! i'm 37 years old and purchased the product to reduce smile lines around my eyes. Don't waste your money girls!
I don't think Youthology will work. Believe me, I have spent so much money on products claiming to get rid of under eye bags and nothing has yet done what was advertised.
If these products work, why do we see under eye bags on so many prominent women on TV.
They have the money to purchase whatever it takes. They've probably tried such products and have just given up on them as I have.
GOOD LUCK!!
Youthology promises far more than you can ever get from any skin care product. They claim some secret formula called Rejuvatin is going to do the trick. I looked carefully at the youthology website and could find no evidence that it was tested under scientifically valid methodlogy where a placebo is used in comparison to the cream.
unless the fda gets into the act of making these companies prove claims you should stick with ingredients that dermatologists know works, idebenone which is found in Prevage, or retinol which is found in lots of products.
Comments like this drive me crazy. Unless you have tried this particular product for yourself you have nothing valid to say. This product is NOT an anti-wrinkle 'treatment', it's a temporary fix to relax your wrinkles for a maximum of 8 hours. Very different from a 'treatment' which provides gradual and long term effects. It is well promoted as a 'temporary' fix. And if you read comments from those who have actually tried it, it seems clear to me it does what it says it will! On top of that, it's a mere $30 or $40, with a money back guarantee. What will you lose by trying it? It takes 90 seconds to see if works. If it doesn't, send it back! What will you gain by trying it? You can make an honest assessment and leave an honest comment based on first hand experience and not conjecture!!
Does it really work? I purchased one yesterday and very excited to get it in the mail. Do you recommend the way to use this product?
My wife tried their products, did not like them at all. I sent them back with documentation months ago. They will not refund your money, they stall, lose paperwork, person working on it "no longer works there". Try it if you wish, but if you think you'll get that refund, forget it.
I tried the product and liked it but I use it very little. I did not send it back for a refund as I will use all of it and if I want more I will order it. Well, not anymore. Yesterday I received another order in the mail and a debit from my bank account. I was told by "Jay" that I was on auto order. I had not even tried the product, why in the world would I be on auto order. No Way! Well now I have to pay shipping back to them on the un-ordered box and they will not credit me for the S&H on a product I did not order. This is really just a ruse to get more money out of someone. Stay very far away from these people. I will go to my bank and put a stop on the next payment due as I was only billed for 1/2 the order. "Jay" warned me that if I don't return the product and I stop the payment they will send me to collections. Not a very friendly way to say "we screwed you". Hope I at least get my product money back. I've been to Chino, CA before and I won't mind going again to find "Jay" or whatever the real name is.
I never order from infomercials, however, I was getting ready to go to work one morning and I watched it on TV. I thought I would give it a try so I called. First she tried to sell me on the automatic montly supply being sent. I explained taht if I like it I will order it again. After giving the rep all my billing information, she tries to upsell me on the other products they have. I nicely said I am getting ready to go to work and don't have time to hear about all the products. They she said "I say it faster". I said no, I don't have time. I understand they are required to do all the script, but please, when a customer is ordering and asked please don't explain your entire product line to me-STOP! I finally got upset and said CANCEL this order. I don't want to do business with a company that has reps that don't listen to the customers. She said she couldn't cancel that I would have to call customer service 24-48 hours because that is when the order will download. I did and received an email that I could get an additional $10 off if I don't cancel. They are really really marketing. I didn't order. This is way too much for me!
Too bad you can't just order the product and have the website if you want to order again. If it is any good, people will find out how to re-order and also want to order the other products!!!!
Morning Mary:
I had to get up to make my husband something to eat on the plane that he is taking to see his brother in Calif, otherwise, I would never have been up this early watching t.v. (1:30 am), and I saw the infomercial for this product. It really sounded "great". I wrote all the info down, and then remembered that "anytime" I order anything that is advertised on t.v. ( I have ordered a few things...some good, some not so good), I also seem to run into the reps that try to sell you everything, and auto ship (I think they must get a commission). I got to thinking about this product, and though I better do a little research, I'm glad I did. I found your comments, and could really relate with them; as I have had the very same experience. Even calling before I went to work, which was very early in the morning. Needless to say, your comments stopped me cold. I really don't want to deal with a company that behaves in this manner. "Thank you" for your comments on this company. I don't usually write to people, but I felt a deep sense of gratitude for the time you spent writing this.

Hey, what a timely post and I want to thank you for your honesty and input. I saw the commercial too, and I was hooked and amazed! The 90 second real time results were so convincing that I have actually been thinking about getting some days later...well here's my story: Ulta doesn't carry Youthology and I always try to buy from Ulta beacause they give you coupons, great redeemable points, and guarantee everything. So now I went to the Net and got this site, and girls, thabkfully I have made it to the other side without ordering the lousy phony crap. Repeated billing and no refunds????The pres of the company that created that phony male enhancement product called Enzite just got a prison sentence for those kind of terribly dishonest business techniques. I recommend if you have been ripped off you file something with the FTC and your local State Attorney General's office of consumer protection. A bigger dick than the one from Enzyte? I think we found it.
The infomercial does state that it only lasts 6-8 hours...I'm very tempted to try it
Even if it doesn't work they give you 6 weeks money back guarantee less the shipping of course.
I tried Youthology (probably wouldn't have as I never believe such claims, but my son bought it for me for Christmas) and it's amazing! If your problem is bags under the eyes, you can say "good bye" to them (for 8 hours, anyway)! The results are truly dramatic.
Unbelieveable. I will never leave my house again without it. Youthology is a miracle! I am so excited each and every morning to start my make up because I know when I am ready to leave, I will leave without bags under my eyes. I'm not so distressed with the crows feet, I have earned those with years of smiling, but the bags were a major headache. Luckily, I no longer have either. What a product, wish I would have found it sooner. I'm telling all my friends and family. I'm going to join the club so I will have the product shipped to me before I run out. Buy it, you will love it and there is a money back guarantee. How could you loose? Belive me you won't!!!!
Hey girls!
This product does work...on me! I'm 54 and have puffiness and crows feet. My daughter put it on me last night and I was amazed. It lasted just over 8 hours. My daughter is 27 and has minimal lines. It DID NOT work for her. I will most certainly buy the product again. It's not permanent, but it's great for a special night on the town or even used daily under your make-up. Don't be skepitcal. It's worth a shot. Money back guarantee so what's to lose except a few bucks for postage. If it works on you like it does on me, you'll be thrilled. Good luck! I love it!!
Hope in Austin is on every Youthology ad website. Don't know or believe this a real person. I am a real person and have tried the product. It is terrible. I do not recommend to anyone and I promise that customer service is not good either. I tried product back in March of 07 for a week. It just left a white residue under my eyes and do not attempt with makeup--DOES NOT WORK!! I returned product on March 29, 07 and have not received my money back in my account and to top it off, I cannot get a hold of anyone to find out status of my refund that they guaranteed. I call the toll free number and no matter what time of day I call I get a recording informing me that I am calling after hours and when I try to contact via email or website customer service of the address that is on my packing label that came with product, my service provide for internet informs me that address of page has been changed--SO IN SHORT, I AM OUT $80.00...I am going to turn them in to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and I am going to call all of my local tv stations that have solving problem segments and having them call the company or try to get in contact with the company. I may not get my money back, but I will try and connect with the public to let them know that the guarantee does not exist.
Melaine in Oklahoma described this product exactly as I see it. The product leaves a white resadue under your eye, or wherever you put it on. The product is like a glue, you put it on it dries tightly pulling your skin. Then as your face starts moving during the day the dried product cracks and turns white leaving your skin looking dried out and with that white resadue on it. If you can go thru your day with no facial expression you might see results. But as soon as you move your face the stuff lets loose of your skin and the wrinkles are back. I decided I would keep it so I could show friends how bad it was and maybe use it for a little laugh. Then to my surprise another months supply came in the mail after they charged my debit card another $49.00. I then tried to return the product by calling the supplied return phone number. All I got was a very rude person on the end of the phone saying I had agreed to receiving the product every month until I canceled. They did not want to give me a refund until the product arrived back to them. I told them I never agreed to these terms and they immeideatly said " would you like to hear the taped phone conversation you had when you ordered?" to me that says HA HA WE GOT YOU!!! so I seem to be stuck with this useless product. Now I have to go to my credit union and stop any further billing from these youthology people. my advice save your money and stay away!!! Jeff from Wisconsin
Thanks for the warning, I have been fool before, and had to through the hassel of changing bank numbr just to get auto shipping stopped. I must say I was very tempted.
Thanks Mel, I was going to wasted my money again.I ordered this three months ago, I never recieved it.Thank God!!There is a product on the market that leave that white film around the eye different name same product I'm sure.. Thanks !!!
I am a foul i tried the youthology,i do not want to receive it anymore
they keep sending me the product and charge it on my credit card. After reading all the comments i realised i am not alone I been calling no luck. What to do next?. Melaine i am totly on your side
Hope you get back to me.
Hey Jeanne,
Call your CC company and make sure that the company is blocked from charging your card. Tell them that you have cancelled your account because of their fraudulent product, and that they do not have permission to charge your account any longer. You have to enforce your consumer rights through your CC company...the least you can do is not continue to be ripped off, also it is a good idea to request to change your card number to prevent further misuse of your CC, they may sell your number to another company....good luck
James who the heck do you think you are criticizing those that are being honest about the trouble they had attempting to get youthology to make good on their money back claims. If they guarantee your money, legitimately one should not have to, as you put it, call over and over and over again...who the hell has time for that?? You clearly are not very intelligent...not to mention immature. Stick to the facts and stop insulting people.
I'm seriously thinking about buying the product but, the last blog by Melaine has me thinking that I should keep looking for another product to use for mine puffyness/bags.
Thanks Melaine and all for sharing your bad experiance and
lessons with this product, although you lost some money ,
you are saving others thousand from bogas products.
What comes around goes around (:
i am wondering if it is just like the product "sudden effects" i think thats what its called which i have tried and that leaves a white residue that looks like you have put egg whites under your eyes i am thinking this might be the same? but i have really bad black bags under my eyes the sudden effects took them away but as soon as you smile it starts to crust and looks awful.
I have used Sudden Effects for many years off and on. I am 50 and look "tired" all the time. I am so self-conscious that I wear my glasses 99% of the time. The 1% of the time when I wear contacts, I will use the Sudden Effects. I would say that it lasts a few hours and then you need to reapply, or rinse off your under eye area and then reapply. Applying too much will give that caked-flakey look. High humidity and hot flashes don't help either. I wanted to buy the Youthology, but I thought some of the photos shown on the infomercial looked touched up and I grew quite skeptical. I hope this comment helps. I say yes for the Sudden Effects. It is sudden and a little bit goes a long way, but not long lasting for me anyway.
I have never tried Youthology...
But I have tried Genie Line Smoother.
I am 45 years old & have noticed frown lines in my forehead & laugh lines around my eyes
that are getting more noticable.
Without telling anyone that I was using this product, several positive comments were made about my skin & people asked what I was using.
It only lasts until you wash it off, but it was well worth it for me!
Ladies,
The commercial caught my attention as well. However, I've been searching for any kind of documentation that explains what the ingredients are and risks involved, to no avail. The FDA approves products ALL THE TIME that aren't necessarily safe, especially for long term use. When the facts aren't readily accessible, it makes me wonder, don't you agree?
I've found that Clinique's under-eye creme is helpful for bags, drinking lots of water keeps the skin in decent shape and washing off all eye make-up before bed minimizes those lines around the eyes (Tyra Banks tip). And a multi-vitamin always makes me feel better and have a healthier glow. Try the energy drink Resurrect-- it has GREAT vitamins and mineral content with no sugar and the same caffine as a regular soda.
Good luck everyone!
Alright... I saw the informercial had to have it. Shipping didn't take long about a week. Great! WRONG!! I opened it, put it on, leaned in to the mirror, and waited to be amazed...well, not so amazing. As it dried, I did feel it pull on my skin, but when the 90 seconds were over, I was left with this grey/white residue. This did not blend in at all with my make up. Most importantly, it tells you to apply and then make no facial expressions. After the 90 seconds were over, when I smiled or made any expression, the residue cracked and flaked off. I was left with nothing. Not happy! It did nothing. I called to return it. I stayed on hold forever. I called back was on hold about 5 minutes. A very polite customer service girl gave me all of the information to return. She said just send it back with the label provided. I told her I didn't see anything like a label. She said just write the return address then. She gave me a return number and said just write it in bold anywhere on the box. She said she would suggest tracking on the package. She said I would receive the refund in 2 weeks-30 days. I asked what happens if I don't get the refund when promised. She said call back and we will use YOUR tracking number to see if it is in our warehouse. If it is, we will refund you. It sounds like it is going to be hard to get this money back! It also sounds like unless you have a tracking number and call them back after 30 days and make them look for it, you won't get the refund. I tried to get on their website and the it is down. WOW!! Beware.
I think the youthology sound alot like freeze 24/7 and serious skin care insta tox...they do the same....they freeze areas on the face and if you put too much you see a white residue...so forget it...i was thinking it wasn't a freeze thing...im surprised because it doesn't have gaba in it which it what makes things freeze in place temporarily.
I, too saw the informercial for 'Youthology' but as tempting as the claims are, I will NOT be buying any, and here's why:
1. I am a computer artist, and the main reason I wanted to investigate this product online is because the informercial really ticked me off:
(a) Some of the 'before' and after' photos of the product "working" on the models totally "morph" into each other! It's not a clean fade out from one shot to the next, but that CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery) effect used to turn a guy into a tiger or whatever... which is 100% computer trickery. Why not just show the 2 photos without the computer animation connecting them?
(b) The 'time lapse' scenes where the 'live' women are waiting for the product to work? When they 'play back' the effect of the product "working before your eyes," the women's eyes do not blink once! I think most people have seen time lapse photography and video, it looks jerky and weird, not a smooth transition like the "proof it works" video in the 'Youthology' commercial. Can you sit without blinking for 90 seconds? Me neither. So, yeah... more CGI trickery.
-- The whole informercial has that convincing "live TV" quality to it, but it's full of computer effects (if you know how to look for them.) It does not reflect well on the product or the company that they would use visual tricks like this, it's dishonest advertising and proof enough for me that consumers should be skeptical of giving $100+ dollars a month to a company that can't show the effects of their product truthfully.
2. After reading numerous websites for info on this stuff, I've come to the conclusion that 'Youthology' is like a 'tightening film' that temporarily pulls the skin tight, but will crack and flake as soon as you move any facial muscles. Products like this have been around forever, this is the 'same old thing' just repackaged for a new generation. Your great-grandma probably did the same thing with egg whites. I didn't watch the whole 3 hours or whatever of the informercial, but from what I did see, never once did they mention any cumulative effects, which only supports this theory.
Anon: really interesting insights. Sadly I'll need to look for real results. Anyone got some suggestions for a wrinkle cream that **really** works

Solution: Dream lift 10.00 made by the salon shoppe works wonders!!
I have fatty deposit under my eye and I was surfing the web to see if there was a solution to my eye worries. I ended up on youthology.com. It looked inticing (sp?). Thank goodness I googled "youthology eye serum review" and found this website. Some of the comments that raved about the product seemed like they were fake! Did you notice that those comments had a infomercial tone to it? they were trying to convince us to buy there crappy product. I might just save up and get my fat deposit removed surgically. that will be the most effective way to get rid of it.
But you almost bought it? Youthology seems no different from other wrinkle cream claims no? If you believe in it that's all that matters some times.
Thank you!! I saw the infomercial, was tempted buy, I knew better so I googled it and saw these comments. I owe you all. Youthology - shame on your. Bad carma for you.
I am the queen of infomercials, I saw this too of TV last night & I couldn't wait to rush onto my computer & get it..But, something told me to read reviews first, rather than just on impluse buy the product.
What also had me wondering, as with the comment a few above mine, is ...These women do not blink !! How can you not blink for 90 seconds..??
I decided after reading these comments to save my money. Thanks ladies !
I, too, was ready to run and order during the infomercial, but decided to check the reviews first. Thanks for the heads up on this product and for saving me money and, most of all, disappointment that I purchased a product that won't deliver as promised! Thanks!!
I received my Youthology eye serum yesterday, but hesitated to use it because of the negative comments I have read here, after I ordered it on line about 2 weeks ago. I was laughing at myself that I might have been had. But I told myself, what the heck, I'll try it, what's to lose, but just the pain of returning it back.
Today, I decided to try it on my clean face after shower. I followed the instructions. I was amazed! The puffiness and eyebags are gone! This reminds me of the non-surgical eyelift (liquid) that I've been using. I have to put it on my face and I could only handle it for 30 mins and I have to wash my face, which the instructions are telling me to do so. The Youthology eye serum seemed like it has the same effect, tighter face muscles, but the Youthology is a lot milder and it feels very refreshing under the eyes and does not irritate my face that it does not bother me to have it own for 8 hours or more. It also covers the little dark circles under my eyes. After a few minutes, I smiled on the mirror and I am very happy I found what I've been looking for with regards to puffiness and eyebags... With wrinkles around the eyes, it surely reduced them on mine, although, I've always taken care of my face early on to lessen wrinkles.
I have bad eye puffiness and eye bags and I tried everything from putting teabags on my face, ice, raised my pillow, but my eyebags and puffiness are still there.
No one paid me to post here, I don't know anyone from Youthology. I just found out about it when by accident I stumbled on the TV informercial 2 Saturdays ago. I'm glad I did! I know it's not permanent, but I know now that when I go out, I would feel confident that I would look refresh and feels like I had a great sleep and been on a Carribean vacation. I love it...I will order this again for sure...
I've had some good results with it, I like it. I understand the fakiness of some of the posters here, but I also don't know anyone from Youthology, and I was happy with it. I have those awful vertical lines between the brows, and it really drives me nuts when I catch a look at myself in the mirror or car window reflection... So the infomercial convinced me, too. At first, it didn't seem to work on the deep lines between my brows, but then I read the FAQs and I saw that you're supposed to put another layer on. Well, that fixed it! So maybe some of you ladies who had trouble may want to check their FAQs? Theres ton of info there- it's obvious that the product is really well researched.
I am 46 years old Male with the Age effects showing below and above my eyes. I have those eye BAGS and some wrinkles and feel that my lower Eye lids make me look 5years older then I feel. I saw the youthology commercial and was very impressed with the MAGIC improvements and for the first time in my life made a purchase via an infomercial LOL.
I felt I had made a rash stupid purchase and that NOTHING applied to your skin can achieve the Same results as Plastic surgery! 10 days later I recieved my little youthology PUMP and pumped a small amount like in the commerical and applied it to my left Lower lid. I watched the clock tick away to the MAGIC 90 seconds and at first was dissapointed but as the clock ticked to 120 seconds my skin tightened and the bags/circles/wrinkels recieved very impressive improvements just like on the infomercial! I did the other eye which also took almost 3 minutes to achieve the full effects. The skin under my eyes felt a bit TIGHT but that is exactly what it is supposed to do. I could not see any residue and felt the effect looked very natural and not only did I look younger I also looked like i was full of energy and not the Tired/Grumpy look with the bags and circles. The effects for me DID NOT last 8 hours probably closer to 5 hours but that is long enough for a date or job interview and it is very easy to Reapply should I need longer effects. I am Happy with my First Infomercial purchase and feel that the Risk and expense of a LOWER BLEPH can be pushed off for a very long time!
I just saw the infomercial for the first time, thinking of trying it, but wanted to read about it before shelling out $40 bucks. Sounds to me like this stuff is the same as Sudden Change, which I buy at the drugstore for $8 bucks. Yes, if you use too much it gets white, and a little flakey, but you don't need much. It DOES make the bags under my eyes disappear, and it also diminishes the fine lines around my eyes. So, I think I will save $32 and keep using the Sudden Change. And if I run out, egg whites do the same thing in a pinch, but it's a little goopy and I don't want to smell like an egg!
You said that you went to the drug store and got sudden change? What drug store change did you go to?
Some comments giving props to the product look totally fake, no matter how they try to hide, the morons that type those spam comments still sound like infomercials, PLEASE stop trying to sell us products that don't work! It's dishonest and scummy!
Hey I am the 46 year old male that posted a positive responce. I am not a FAKE! I could careless if youthology makes money I am sure there are other Products out there as good if not better for LESS MONEY! All I did was put down an honest responce to my Experience with the product!
With all your ranting you will AGE yourself! LOL
OK girls - I live in Miami... am an older woman- but have the same under eye problems as everyone else. I DID try Youthology and ended up throwing it out after about a week. It DOES work for about ten minutes and would probably work longer if you didn't speak, smile, eat or blink... because once you start doing normal things, the stuff starts cracking and leaving the lines deeper and more visible under the eyes. But it does work... you can feel the tightening effect and actually see the lines going away.. and if you add a little too much, it WILL leave a residue that you can detect. SO, the company needs to take care of the problems we're talking about but I know that's impossible because lots of the gals that can afford the BEST would be flawless. Just drink lots of water and try to get a good nights sleep... and not too much wine... and it'll be OK.

WELL WELL WELL WHO DO U BELIEVE??? I WILL SAVE MY MONEY JUST READING THE NEGATIVE REPORTS!!! EAT HEALTHY & GROW OLD WITH NATURE. WHAT ELSE CAN U DO. ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY!!! IF IT WORKS SO GREAT THERE WOULD B NO NEGATIVE REPORTS
I do not buy anything from an infomercial, my sister does. She bought some of this stuff and I tried it. You can feel your skin getting tight and the puffiness and fine lines do go away. It last for only about 5 hours not 8. It is the best I have seen for temporary removal of puffiness and wrinkles.
i was thinking about trying it but probly will not. good nights sleep, lots of water and laying off the wine is the best advice.(oh yea, axe the salt too)
I bought this product about 2 weeks ago and I really like it. This is not an "ad"...this is a real 37 year old person in Chicago who has wrinkles in her forehead and around her eyes from too much sun and being very cranky for most of her life. This stuff makes them flatten out and really works for me. That may not be the case for everyone, but I can say that it makes a visible difference in my skin. I have been dragging friends in front of the mirror and making them try it to show them the difference. The first day I got it I used it and went to my company holiday party and one of the 30 year olf guys I work with said to me, "...you look different...like you got a lot of sleep or something...you look refreshed" (this is without me saying anything about the product, he just said it out of the blue). So other than me wondering how big the bags under my eyes must have been on a regular basis, I'm pretty happy with Youthology.
I ordered the serum about 2 months ago and still haven't received it. I called to check on it and they said I should get it in a week or so. After hearing that they will keep sending shipments, I also asked to make sure I was only getting it the one time, and she told me "I don't blame you for asking". That sounds like she knows something that others don't. I will let you know what I think of the product when I get it.
I was wondering if this is like another wrinkle serum I tried. It did smooth out the wrinkles for a short time, but it make my skin feel tight and there was a coating of something on my skin.
Can anyone tell me what this is like on the skin?
Yes it works for as long as it says it does. Eight or nine hours. It really does get rid of the bags and the lines that form at the side of the eye.
Now if your 20 you don't need this. But I certainly do recommend it.
My husband oredered this for me for Xmas and I tried it on one eye a few days ago. It did appear to make a difference and I was thinking "great", it really works. After about 5 minutes I started feeling really strange. My throat felt funny, ears felt like they were plugging up a little, funny taste in my mouth and throat felt strange. Maybe I accidently got some in my mouth? I don't know, but I rinsed off right away and also rinsed my mouth and I have been afraid to use it since. I will have him call though to make sure they are not going to charge him again for a monthly thing after reading other reviews on here.
This product is a SCAM! I saw the infomercial and went to the website to research it further. When i did a google search a few months back i didnt see any sites warning me against it or saying it was a scam so I trusted the site and ordered.
The automated voice on the other end of the phone was completely retarded and was screwing up my order. At the end of the conversation after they had my credit card info I didnt even know what the heck i had ordered, and they said i'd been signed up for orders every month.
I tried calling back for the next two weeks every day and was put on hold listening to music and told to keep waiting - I wasted 14 days of my lunch hour waiting for these jerks to answer. Finally when i got a REAL person they were very rude and made it seem like an inconvience i didnt want to order this crap every month! She insisted that it would work and that if it didnt I could call back and return it for no charge.
I got the product tried it and nothing - white residue cracking flaking - all the same things the bad reviews have said before me. I am only 23 so I figured maybe its just that my under eye circles arent bad enough. I gave the product to my mom who is 54 and has crows feet etc. SHE HATED IT. Said it was the biggest waste of my money i'd ever spent.
So i tried calling back to return it and the number gives me a busy signal everyday never rings or plays music NOTHING. I'm pretty upset because i never order stuff off TV and I'm so dissipointed at the dishonesty of this company. What a scam! DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I think the product works just as they say. I've used it for three days now & have not had to reapply it even after 10 hours.
the only problem I found was that you couldn't use liquid foundation with it because that caused the effect to be lost, but powder (I use mineral powder) can go right over the top of it for great results!
I purchased Youthology thru HSN.com. They said delivery would be 2 weeks. I rec'd it in about a week. I am 69 years old. People say I look really good for my age. I have puffy bags under my eyes and droopy eyelids... I USE YOUTHOLOGY EYE. It works on both. I was surprised. You must: 1. use the daytime nouisher first, gently dabbing it on, then 2. Gently dab on a little bit of the Youthology. You don't need to push the top down all the way (experiment). Be sure to dab it on well. I know this sounds like I work for them..I do not. I do want people to know it can work if you don't expect miracles. Yes, it is temporary, But, just a tiny bit of water will refresh it. I have used an oil free make up (Cover Girl Advanced Radience), and a mineral makeup with no problem. My biggest surprise is that it works on my droopy eyelids. I hope I have helped. Oh yeah, HSN has deals like no shipping. No I don't work for HSN either.
My big question is why can't you just buy the daytime nouisher and the tightener, without having to buy all the other stuff?
You can buy this product at HSN.com with a 30 day no hassel return policy if you don't like it and need to send it back. I just watched them demo it on a woman who had to be in her mid to late eighties, and it worked great on her severly wrinkled skin, looked impressive. Its probably worth a try since they have it with free shipping right now.
Greetings all,
I just got my Youthology Eye serum collection package from HSN. I have to say I was skeptical also and did not look for reviews before I ordered it.
I put it around my eyes about an hour ago and it did make a difference. I tried smiling, making various faces after reading all the posts. My eye area still looks very good. I tried it on other areas on my face and got one area that was a bit white (but I hurridly put it on, did not take the extra few seconds that I did with my eyes.
I am going to try it on my husband tonight and see if it works on him.
I will probably keep it as I use mineral foundations anyways.
One note - I purchased a book last week that has kept me captivated - DON'T GO TO THE COSMETICS COUNTER WITHOUT ME by Paula Begoun. what a great book if you want to see how cosmetics and skin care products are rated. I have so much crap (expensive) and I am very disappointed in most of it, based on the book reviews and some of the scientific reseach I have read about it in the book. This book is so interesting and somewhat depressing when you look up the products you are using and find out that there are much cheaper versions of it out there that are better.
The Youthology name was not in there, as I looked.
Anyways, good luck!
Boy I sure am glad that I viewed this site BEFORE I wasted my money..Thanks people..
I have tried so many products on the market and have spent hundreds of dollars to help with my under eye bags....One day I saw the youthology ad on TV....Thought I would try it since it had a money back guarentee....Well I have to say I was totally shocked at the results....My bags and crows feet were gone! I am 53 years old and my friends have been asking me what I have I been using on my face and that I look 15 years younger....I am a very skeptical person and thought I would be wasting my money again....not so...This is the only product that does what it says it does.....It states it lasts for 8 hours, well I average about 14 hours...I don't work for the company and am being truely honest about this product..Here is a list of products I have tried
Arbonne, Avon, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Aloette, Loccitane, Elizabeth Arden, Reclaim and the list goes on...I am thrilled I have found a product that works and is very reasonably priced...
Its main ingredient is probably something like egg whites!
This is a very old quick fix trick. To dab slightly beaten egg whites around your eyes you will get an instant tightening, but it will dry, flake and crack.
This sounds like the modern version.
WHen wll we learn???
This product is a scam - I reported them to the BBB- and their response was a lie. I sent the item back over a month ago which they told me I'd be refunded and I have seen nothing in my bank account. I recommend everyone to go to the BBB and report a claim on this SCAM of a company!!!! BEWARE.

Complaint Description - Posted 1/8/2008
I saw this product on tv and ordered it over the phone. The number given was an automated service person that asked me to repeat my answers numerous times. It screwed up my order and set me up to order every month for $40.00 instead of just one purchase. It also signed me up for magazines I didn't ask for. I tried calling the Customer Service number (866-968-8490)I tried calling for 3 hours for 7 days in a row, finally I got through after waiting for over 20 minutes with no prompts as to when I'd be helped. The person was rude and told me they would take my monthly purchase off of my account and I'd only be billed once. I said fine - and hung up. I received the product nearly 3 weeks later and tried it - it did the opposite of what it claimed. Its supposed to remove wrinkles and it gave me more. It felt like I was putting glue under my eyes and after 5 minutes it flaked off. I'm only 23 yrs old so I dont have that many wrinkles - i thought i'd give it to my mom to try. Same result. Absolutely a terrible product. This infomercial is lying to consumers and needs to be pulled off the air. I emailed their customer service help contact at (customerservice@youthology.com) and never heard back. At this point I just wanted my money back. I tried for 2 weeks to call the number that was provided for my 6 week money back gurantee and all i got was a busy signal. Finally today I reached Youthology - after waiting for 30 minutes. They told me to mail it back for refund.

Company's Response
Company's Initial Response - Posted 01/26/2008
Customer is not truthful about the automated service person, this is a live human being that you speak with. Regardless, customer will be refunded upon return of product. She called on 1/7/08 for instructions and once we have product back, refund will be issued. The product works fine for those who use it properly.
Refund upon return of product.
Consumer's Rebuttal
Consumer's Rebuttal - Posted 01/28/2008
I AM TRUTHFUL about ordering through an automated voice. The number that is provided on the infomercial directed me to an automated voice that asked me to answer yes or no or speak numbers and then repeated it back to me to which I then would respond yes or no if the automation was correct. The product does not work "fine" for those who use it "properly". I followed the directions word for word and NOTHING HAPPENED. The item was mailed back the day I filed my complaint (1/08/08) I have seen NO refund to DATE (1/28/08) I've made copies of all of the shipping info and photographed proof of sending the product. I want my money refunded or I will take further action. This product is a Scam.
Company's Final Response
Company's Final Response - Posted MM/dd/yyyy
Their final response was "Posted MM/dd/yyyy" nice!...Im 50 dollars in the hole and already shipped the crap back which they will turn around and scam on their next victim!!!
I have been using this product since July 2007 and I absolutely love it! I do not work for the company - I think the people who have had complaints are not working with it and following directions. I mix mine with a little foundation and then lightly tap onto the area under my eyes - I then blow dry my hair and the heat from the blow dryer seems to "set" the product - my only comment to those of you who hate the product..."Thank you"... it just means that there is more of the product for those of us who love it! And we won't have baggy, saggy eyes!
I purchased this item and waited 2 months for the item. What a joke. Then after using the product I saw no improvement. Contacted customer service due to the fact that they set you up on a recurring auto shipment and of course that is in the fine print. Asked to be canceled and for a RTV. Got a thank you email. Horrible customer service. NEver got to return the original shipment. Claims the warranty is expired. Beware buyers.
It does work. Age 39 and it does tighten wrinkles and crows feet. It does not due much for the between the eyes furrows as I would like, but scotch tape at night or frownies work great for those. I don't know what people on here are experiencing but for me it does works great under eye and crows feet and even on the sides of my mouth. It is a little better than freeze 24 and Lift Fusion and the other labels I have tried.
There is a little white residue left if you put too much on but a little water on your finger and tapping the spot takes it away..
I wait at least 10 minutes before tying to apply makeup in which I use Cover Tox Ten or Mineral Makeup which I make myself..
I suggest anyone using it only does one side of the face and compares after a few minutes.
I have no idea on the long term skin stretching Ideas floating around. However, the less the wrinkles are there the less they seem overall.
I have tried hundreds of products and spend lots of time on my overall skin care regimine.
I also use microdermabrasion (any) and glycolic acid (ebay) my face, which help me personally to keep skin looking young.
I suggest it is worth a try. From a real user.
No, it does not work. I tried it and sent it back immediately, which they said I could do because I was supposed to see results in 90 seconds. I sent it back 7 weeks ago and still have not gotten my money back on my credit card.
Do not be as gullible as I was.
After reading all the comments here Youthology sounds no better than using some egg whites to temporarily tighten your skin. Thanks for saving me from buying this product.
This stuff really does work!! I have tried the egg whites before, that works but now that really leaves a white residue, Youthology does not if you just use a tear drop size like the directions say, I purchased this for my under eye bags, not for wrinkles but
it truly does work for that!! I am going to take some before and after pictures one of these days. :)
In no way do I work for them at all, I am a longs ways away from CA!
I ordered Youthology a couple months ago and I have to say it really does work well. You have to experiment a little in applying the right amount when you first get it--if you apply too much, the serum dries to a white film that looks weird and isn't easily covered with makeup. But once you figure out how much to apply (a tiny dab will do) and also that it needs to be smoothed over the entire undereye area to avoid puckering, you'll be amazed at how it really does smooth out wrinkles. Basically, I think the stuff is made of egg whites--as it dries, it pulls everything tighter. So maybe a cheaper alternative may be to just try to whip up some egg whites and see if it would work just as well. :^)
I love the product. It really did get rid of my wrinkles and bags under eyes. The directions say to put foundation on before putting youthlology product on, not after. My only complaint is that I can't get the pump to work any longer and still have 1/3 of the product left in the container. I tried sticking a pin in the opening to open the dispenser but it didn't help.
i saw this site after i placed an order....
well, i am little bit scared but can't wait to see the result!
and i don't work for this company because i am from japan and
don't know anybody.
Don't waste your money. This product doesn't work.
If you want to try a product that works just like Youthology, without buying it over the phone or internet, go to Ulta and buy a product called Instatox. It works exactly the same way and it does work very well, for up to 8 hours. It must be applied to clean skin (no lotion or makeup). I apply mineral powder makeup, with sunscreen, over the Instatox. Liquid or cream makeup will ruin the tightening effect.
My basic rule: I don't put anything ON or IN my body unless I know what the ingredients are. Why? Because some ingredients are quite bad for you. Mineral oil, for example, is very bad for women to use (far beyond the comedogenic properties). Parabens are implicated in cancers due to possible estrogenic action, but are still found in most cheap cosmetics. Ingredients are not to be found on the website. Are they on the product containers? WHY on earth would anyone put something close to their eyes, not knowing what is in that substance?
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! After seeing the infomercial, I was tempted to purchase this product, however, after reading all of the comments I will definitely stay away from this one. As a side note, the majority of the positive comments seem to use all the catch phrases and buzz words used in advertising, and are oh-so-clever about throwing in a few misspelled words to make them sound more 'real.' Hilarious.
Here are the ingredients for the eye serum, posted on hsn.com:
90 Second Eye Serum 30 Day Supply
Water, Sodium Silicate, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Propylene Glycol, Echinacea Angustifolia (Coneflower) Extract, Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola) Extract, Cellulose Gum, Iron Oxide.
The silicates are the same ingredients that Serious Skin Care's Inst-A-Tox uses. They are highly alkaline minerals that cause the skin to swell up, and leave the whitish film behind. The cellulose gum "glues" the lift in place. And I do not trust Propylene Glycol in any product, especially not one around the eyes.
Not a "miracle" but worked well for me. I'm 45 and bought Youthology on the website and had no problems with them putting me on the auto-order system. I only paid once for the item I received. I can see where people would have trouble with this product but truly, if you follow the directions you should have positive results. I don't think it's the MIRACLE they claim it to be, but I certainly see a difference in my eyes when I use it. As for the white residue...you are using too much. If you use only a tiny bit, it will not turn white and flake. I blend mine with a bit of water based moisturizer (not the one they sent but one from Avon) and it works well. My only complaint? I've ordered this product several times and EVERY time, the container it comes in FAILS before all the product is gone!! THE PUMP STOPS WORKING WITH ABOUT 1/3 of the product still in the container. Each time I have had to take some pliers and tear apart the pump, then apply the rest of the product by turning the container upside-down and tapping it on my finger. PAIN IN THE BUTT! I like the product, but wish they would improve the container pump! I will be looking for a "like" product to use that does not come in the annoying pump-type container!
This discussion has an interesting view on psychology. There are close to as many positives as negatives about this product yet people who read it say "I am glad I read this now I won't waste 40 bucks." I think if you are skeptical the positives don't matter and if you are looking to justify your purchase or wanting to purchase, the negatives don't matter.
My roommate bought the stuff, we are both males. I have tried another product like this before and had close to the same results. This one seems a little less expensive. It worked for what I wanted it to work for. I am 38 have some wrinkles around the eyes and a slight puffiness under. I am more concerned with the puffiness. (I'm a guy, wrinkles add character.) It worked fine for the both but I liked the results on the puffiness the best. It can leave white residue if you use too much. I just dab it with water and the whiteness goes away. I don't remember how long it lasts because it has been a few months since I used it (He ran out and I haven't ordered any. I am here because I finally figured out the name of it and was looking to order and came across this site.) But I don't think I got 8 hours out of it. But for me, I just used the stuff if I was going on a date or to a club. I didn't use it daily.
I don't know if the different views are due to different skin types, application process or differing expectations. Maybe it works better on men because we don't wear makeup? It works good enough for me until I get the $$$$ to have the fat sucked out of the bags.
Ya'll a bunch of liars who are saying this does not work...I just got a bottle and it works GREAT!!! This is a temp fix for lines or bags under your eyes.. what do you expect for 40 dollars a cure for good??? If you need a quick fix to take about ugly bags and lines...this product works great...and NO I do NOT work for the company..I found this site....
I too fell for the Youthology infomercial, which is surprising to me, because I'm the biggest skeptic of informercials and never believe them or even watch them. Unfortunately, I didn't find this website until after I decided to try the product.
For some reason I thought this eye serum would do what it claimed, because I used to use an eye cream by Mary Kay (Triple Action Eye Enhancer) that did a similar thing. It temporarily firmed the skin under the eye and reduced the appearance of bags, but it was discontinued, and I have been trying to find something to replace it ever since. If I hadn't had this previous experience with the MK eye cream, I probably wouldn't have believed the Youthology claims at all.
When I received my Youthology eye serum, I applied it as directed but didn't really notice a difference. So the next time I tried it, I only applied it under my right eye to see if there would be a noticeable difference between my eyes. After waiting several minutes, I could see absolutely no difference between the two eyes, even though I could feel the tightening.
Then I tried to create the "pinched" look on the left, untreated eye they warn you about in the instructions if you don't apply it evenly. I put a small amount in the middle of the under-eye area and did not smooth it out entirely, leaving the skin toward the inside and outside untouched. That didn't work either. No pinching, puckering, or tightening of baggy skin.
At this point, I call customer service to get my return authorization number because my feeling is that if you wait 30 or 60 days like they say you can, you will be less likely to get your money back. I was given a number and instructions for returning it (after being offered the $10 off for continuing to try it like someone else posted), but I swear the guy was laughing. He was trying to disguise it, but I could tell, and I almost said something, but let it go.
I'm going to be returning this product with a tracking method and I'm also going to contact my credit card company to dispute the charges in case they don't give me a prompt refund. I just wish I'd looked up reviews before and not after I bought it....
When the poster wrote that Youthology Eye Serum leaves a residue, it too, like another poster, reminded me of Sudden Change Eye junk. I used the latter and it is exactly like described: as if you have dried, crusty egg whites under your eyes. When mixed with makeup, it gets really ugly, messy and looks to other people like you have dried eye crud or sleep around your eyes. Sudden Change is about $10, so if you're going for the instant wrinkle and puff remover, and they both leave the icky residue, you'd be better off saving your dough and going for Sudden Change, which is available at drug stores, Wal Mart, etc.
