Personally I think the Jury is still out on this type of weight loss strategy! The premise behind Sensa is that you don't have to change what you eat, reduce your calories/fat or exercise more. All you do is sprinkle on the Sensa powder and wear a patch, which will then submit a signal to your brain telling it that you are full and you should stop eating. The program is designed to last for 6 months, but they say you can use it for longer.
The Study done for Sensa was for 6 months only, so no one knows what happens after those 6 months. Does the weight return? Do you have to use Sensa forever?
For me personally I would prefer to stick to a simple calorie controlled diet with additional exercise. If you count your calories, exercise and eat healthily then you can achieve the same results, without having to buy expensive powders or pills for one of the many diet programmes that are currently circulating.
To summarise: I have not used the Sensa program so cannot say whether it works or not, but for me personally, a calorie controlled diet is better in the long-term and doesn't cost anything over and above your normal grocery bill.
