I need your advice!!!!

By Jennifer1985 on 11 Oct 2011

Hi everyone. I have had 2 Csections and my loose skin bothers me tremendously. I have wanted a tummy tuck for so long. I think about it every single day. It effects my marriage, my self image and controls my life. The only thing between me and my tummy tuck is the fact that I have only been on the job for  3 months. Would it look bad on me if I asked for the time off unpaid. I can even do most of my work from home and would be willing to do it unpaid. Should I ask? Do I be honest about why I need the time off or fib? This is a small office and everyone knows everything about everyone. What should I do. Please help!

I started a new job in July and I simply told them I was having surgery. I am only part time though. But if you can do work from home that would be a good selling point. I know its hard to decide if a little white lie would be better than the truth. I did tell my boss what I was doing but threw in the fact that the muscle repair is necessary for better health. Good luck. In your decision.
