A year later, anyone have problems??

By maggietoy on 23 Jan 2012

Does anyone know how the lifestyle lift works?  I think they put "ties" in your face to hold it up?  If so, I think one of the ties is not right in my face and is hurting me.  It just started last week and the pain is really hurting near the front of my ear. My ordeal was horrific,i'm left with terrible scars and got nothing what I initially went there for....which was for my "clown mouth" and better complexion.  The doctor "fixed" my double chin"....now I have "gobble chin" and I am still left with "clown mouth".  I have horrible scars in front of my ears and now I have this horrible pain in front of and almost inside of my right ear.  Can this be from the surgery?  Also, my sides of my face are still somewhat numb. I would NEVER recommend this surgery to anyone....EVER.

Hi Maggie -- I'm so sorry to hear about the problems you're still having. I don't *think* LSL uses threads, but here's some info about how it's done. I hope this helps and please keep us posted on your progress.
