Worried about having TT/ recovery working in Law Enforcement

I plan on having full TT, MR and lipo of flanks and plan to take 3 weeks off. I am in law enforcement and I'm dreading that I won't be "ok" to do my job well although I have all the support at home for the healing process... Any advice?

Plan 4 weeks if u can. And make sure your doc puts u in light duty restrictions for at least 8 weeks after. I'm not law enforcement but am military with a pretty physically demanding job. You will be OK to go back to work at say a desk job after 2 weeks but as far as performing the physical duties you're gonna need extra time.
