Which is best laser for hair removal on Indian skin?

By mini7 on 14 Feb 2010

I recently had NdYag laser done, because my skin is Indian which is neither dark nor fair. I have got coarse hair on my face. the prob is first time they did NdYAg and second time IPL. whereas they're charging me acc to NdYag laser which they consulted with me on consultation day.

I'm confused. I think they are making me fool. plz suggest me the right thing. shall I continue or not. they gave this excuse that they have got a new hand piece of 695m in IPL which is for all skin type. is that true. plz guide me. thanks

Nd: Yag is good. Nd:YAG laser by Cutera Coolglide which is safe on Indian skin and suitable for all skin types. The beam of laser light is absorbed by the dark colour (melanin) of the hair. This procedure works on the hair roots (follicles) without harming the surrounding skin. Within 6 – 8 sessions, your hair growth is reduced significantly.

Im using alexandrite on my skin. I have the same skin tone as you. Neither dark nor light. If you dont like the place. Do more research and find a board certified aesthetician. And make sure they do a patch test on different parts of the body

Don't get confused, I deeply apologies for my ans that didn't s satisfy you, believe me YAG is the first laser cleared for permanent hair reduction in all skin types (including half fair & half dark) and is endorsed by physicians. i sure they are not making me fool and please continue on this it will really help you.
