I got saline implants removed without a lift but now I think i will need one. When I lay down my nipples sink in,I don't really like how that looks. Does anybody have this problem??

Hi andi22,

A quick update: they're out!! Woohoo!! I'm over the moon and it's GREAT!! What an unexpected feeling....I thought I was going to go into a deep depression, but it could not be more opposite!

I'm pleasantly surprised with how much breast tissue I'm left with! It's only been 6 days post explant, and I'm probably around a small C cup. My stitches are itching like CRAZY though...oh it can be unbearable at times, but all part of the healing process.

How are you? It's been a long time. Are you healing nicely and 'fluffed up' more? x

Yay! That's awesome. Just bear in mind a little of the fullness could be from swelling and fluid, so that may go down a bit.

Yes, I seem to have healed well. been 2.5 months now. So glad I did it! My breasts arent perfect, but they werent with the implants in and I am definitely happier :) x

Hi Preciosa. I only had mine ten weeks. I wanted lipo, but got talked into a mommy makeover and impulsively got implants and regretted it immediately. I'm a 34B. My breasts wrinkled a bit after removal, but I think they're improving as I've been using ant-wrinkle cream. I can definitely tell they're volumizing a bit cause I'm filling out my old bras a lot better than before. Trying to keep my hopes high! :)

Hi andi22..just had the consultation and I have decidex to go for it. Im going away with my bf for a week - somewhere hot - then when I get back I'm getting the op. Once my holiday'sbooked then I'll know when to book the op in. So we're looking at the next month or so! The ps showed me a pic of my pre-op....I was shocked to see my small boobs again...and to think I'll be reverting back to that is freaking me out a bit I must say. It's gonna be super-charged padded bras for me now!!!

How are you? Are you healing up nicely? I think I'm going to start rubbing in some bio oil now, so to improve the outcome. Can't hurt, eh? X

Hi Preciosa. Mine were bigger...500cc. My ps convinced me that I was wide-shouldered so I needed a bigger implant. I had mine removed on April 27th. Do you still see improvements? Or would you say you are at a standstill?

Hi cris1203. I had mine removed on April 6th. I had my implants in for 9 yrs. How long did you yours? and what size are you now? Well I don't really see more improvement but i am hoping if I give it more time my skin will tighten more. I herd some other ladies on this site said they use some skin tighten cream or maybe its wrinkled improvement cream and I am looking to see if I can find something like that so I can try because, I know that I don't have enough breast tissue for a lift and I don't want to get a lift. I do have strechmarks from nursing and implants. I am using Maderna that seems to be helping.

HI andi22 Thanks for being honest. Yeah you're right who's going to examine me? Well other than my Hubby..!! haha Well (Not examine) about that I actually haven't let my hubby see me actually I am always wearing a shirt or night gown, anything that covers my boobs, well when laying down. Its that insecurity again...coming back to me, but i will NOT get implants again and I honestly don't want to get more surgery. I will give it some time and see if it gets better. Thanks

I think your breasts look really cute now, but if you do want to get a lift you should, no shame in it, but as you said, just see how you feel in another 6 months - 1 year.

I feel insecure too, but its have always been with my body, I've come to realise I'd be the same probably even if I had a supermodel figure!

My breasts are asymetrical. The surgeon said if I want he can reduce one of them so they are the same size but I said no. It's not that terrible and I don't want more surgery.

Andi22..how did it go?!!! I'm seeing my surgeon this Friday to tell him I want them out. How are you feeling? Still the right decision? I hope all is well xxx

Hi Darlz, yes definitely! It's been nearly 6 weeks now and I am so glad to be rid of those toxic bags :) I've started running with the intention of getting fit and looking good with the new small boobs.

I hope your consultation goes well, when will you book surgery - as soon as possible or do you plan waiting a bit? xx

Thanks Cris! :) We're are own worst critics for sure! How long has your explant been now? I saw on your profile that you had them in only a very short time...so if anyone is going to have an eventual good result it will be you. Just give it some more time...they say it'll be 6 months to a year for a final result.

As for the breast feeding, I think most people can breast feed after implants. If not, it's ok...remember some people cant anyway, so dont beat yourself up about something you cant change...I think we all have regrets, so definitely understand! Hugs x

Andi..you have a great attitude! :) I love it. You are definitely right. I had the worst anxiety having those implants..I would prefer inverted nipples any day! Getting implants was the most impulsive thing I've ever done, definitely my biggest regret! My husband and I still want one more baby..I don't know what I was thinking?!? Oh well! We all make mistakes. I'm hoping that when we eventually get pregnant, my breasts will fill in a bit. I'm worried that I ruined my chance of nursing (as I had an areola incision), but I'm praying for the best.

I got that slightly at the beginning, seems better now.

What does it matter really though? If they look ok when you're upright I dont see why you'd want to put yourself through a lift....I mean who's examining your breasts when you're lying down? (apart from you!)

Hi Preciosa. I have this problem. I'm not very happy with the aesthetic results of my implant removal. My skin wrinknled a bit, and when I lay down that happens. I'm not sure if a lift will help. I think my only option is going to be to reimplant, or just learn to accept the deformities. I'm bummed. What did your PS say about the problem.

Hi! Cris1203 Thanks. No I haven't talk to my PS about my problem, but it does bother me maybe I just need more time, to get use to my small boobs. I do not want to get implants, "that's for sure"!!. Like you said I need to accept my deformities.
