what to do when herpes scars wont heal?

Ive had herpes for 5 years now and Im on 25. I feel that my life is over. even though zi rarely have outbreaks, it seems like the ones that are old does not seem to clear up. Ive used everything from mederma skin gel, to various creams. It will feel a little more comfortable if I can wake up and see my original skin on my penis grow back. But instead I see a small scar that will not go away everytime I use the bathroom. It annoys the hell out of me, I push everyone away, and my sex life is not the same, I think it will never be. If anyone have any solutions to my problem please help me out. I'm going crazy over here
I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. Here's what one doctor said to a man with a scar on his penis.
And here's one more. You'll have to go to a consultation if you're interested in Fraxel, etc.
If breakouts become a problem, I know a lot of people have success with Valtrex.
