What Should I Have Done First?

By suzque49 on 21 Jan 2013

I went for my PS consultation today. We talked about a TT with muscle repair, face with neck lift and lipo, lower eyelids (my insurance will cover upper lids and brow lift) I was hoping he could do all at the same time he said no, too long under anesthesia.

Now I'm trying to decide what to get done first. Have to wait 2 months between surgeries. I have wanted a TT for years, but I know the face lift etc will make the most visable difference. My grandson is getting married in May, so the face lift would make me look better in the pictures, I can hide the belly with spanxs. 3 weeks recovery for the face lift and 4 weeks for the TT.

Price quoted was $8500 for TT, $10,500 for face lift and $2500 for lower lids. (the upper lids and brow lift would be $5000 if I had to pay for that, but insurance covers it) What do you think I should do first?

That's a tough one, but I think you've answered your own question...

Good luck and please let us know what you decide. I'm sure you'll look beautiful when all is said and done.

I guess I have decided on the face lift, (but I would REALLY prefer the TT) I will have to wait until the fall for the TT because I can only take up to 12 weeks off a year for job protection, and I was off 6 weeks last summer (end of July). Face lift is 3 to 4 weeks and TT is 4 weeks. My co worker is taking the month of Auguest off, so I'm looking at Sept or Oct. So I am a bit depressed about it, but this time next year I will be where I want to be.
