Hey Ladies! I'll start things off. I'm 38 years old, a mom and wife, and I've recently lost about 100 pounds through diet and exercise. Basically I went from being sedentary and eating horribly to becoming a vegan and running. It was an incredible life change for me that has left me with horribly sagging skin and a new appreciation for physical activity. Anyway, I'm scheduled for a MOmmy Makeover on May 16. I'm having a full tummy tuck, lipo, and a breast lift and augmentation. I'm very excited. Just today I decided to embark on a raw food journey for the next 45 days leading up to my surgery day. I'd like to lose more weight and detox, bu more importantly I juts want to be in the very best physical condition I can be in when I go under the knife. Currently I work out about 60-90 minutes 5 or 6 days a week and I eat very clean. I'm going to juice fresh organic fruits and veggies, indulge in raw salads to my hearts content and keep my protein levels up by consuming a smoothie every day made with fresh fruit and vegan protein powder. I'm going to track my progress, so I'll update on my profile often. If anyone is interested in exploring the health benefits of a plant based diet, just let me know. I'm happy to talk about my journey!
