3 Weeks Post-Op

My surgery was on May 15th, so I'm a little over three weeks post op.  I've been freaking out because of the swelling, or, I hope it's swelling! I'm having all the worries that they didn't take off enough skin/fat, that I'm gaining weight, that my surgery was a botch.  Last week I felt great and like my results were great, but this week I feel super fat and swollen and one side of my TT much puffier than the other side.    Any recommendations?  Any soothing words?  I will try to get some pictures up ASAP so you guys can be the judge!

Thank you so much for the reply! I have been so heart broken and feeling like this has been a huge botch. My surgeon didn't really tell me to wear a compression garment but I feel like I would feel a lot better with one. What kind do you have an where did you get it?

Hi! My PS actually supplies the garments to me, but this is the one I'm using: http://www.contemporarydesigninc.com/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=70 It's actually pretty comfortable. I know that a lot of people use the Design Veronique brand, too!

Hi there! My surgery was also May 15, and if it's any comfort to you, I'm still swollen to a ridiculous degree :-) I saw my PS this past Monday, and he pretty much shook his finger in my face and told me not to measure myself or weigh myself for another two or three weeks. He wouldn't even take pictures of the lipo work on my thighs because it was "too early".

So the boring old stuff is true: stay away from salt, drink lots of water, move around a bit, wear your compression garments/binder, and BE PATIENT!
