5 weeks post-op, will they drop???

I am  5 weeks post op from BA & lolli pop lift ,700 cc right & 750 cc left. I know and expected it to take longer for my larger implants to drop and for my muscles to relax - however between 1 - 5 weeks the only difference i have noticed is the tightness easing from my swelling going down and only relaxing downwards a tiny bit.  I've been doing the massages like crazy and the implants are still so, so high..I know it can take months for them to drop but I thought they would have at least STARTED dropping by now.?? Has anyone out there gone or is anyone going through the same thing with their larger implants? How long did yours take to at least start dropping? Did you need a revision?  Are they just placed too high?  Stats: 25 yrs old , 5"10, 150lbs, pre BA cup size- empty D cup.

Hi I hope u r doing well, I had mine done and felt the same way it took a long time for them to drop. I had to message them. I am wondering due to your lift could that be a reason yours is taking alittle longer?

How are things coming along for you now? I was 4 weeks post op on Monday. I had a follow up today. My implants are 492/457. Mine have dropped some but I too was thinking they'd drop a bit quicker. I have been assured by my Dr that all is normal and that it takes atleast 2 months. He did give me a strap today that I will wear around my chest to help things along. I was just curious how your recovery is coming along. Are you seeing a difference yet? I have not been able to do any massaging because I had a lift and a BA so I can't massage them just yet. Anyhow, just hoping you are seeing some changes and healing up:)

Not sure if you have viewed this, but just in case, here is link to our RealSelf Doctor Q&A regarding your question:

How Long Do Large Breast Implants Take to Drop?

It sounds like it does take longer for larger implants to drop. What has your doctor said during post-op appts? Keep us posted!

Hi, so now at 8 weeks and yes they are dropping. I had a post op visit yesterday and everything is on schedule. Since I also had a lift I have some incision scars that still don't look too great but my Dr. is providing me with a couple sessions of IPL (laser treatment) at no cost. I though that was pretty cool. How are you doing?

Not sure tbh. I had under muscle 375cc and am uplift. Implants well. You can't see them like in your pick but you can feel them very high and the also seem to be under my arm pit. Makes it very hard to shave lol. They still are very deep in my chest as well not at all in my breast. Was an deflated e cup before after breastfeeding 6 kids but atm even my nieces c cup is too big. My surgeon just says give it time.
