I want to have a Tummy Tuck & Breast Lift, but I am SOOOOOO scared!

I have been to my doctor twice and at my preopt visit I found out he will be putting a tube down my throat for the surgery!  I am scared i won't wake up!  I am also afraid of the after pain!  Well I be able to tolerate it?  I am not the kind to lay around, I like to be up helping everybody else.  ANY advice is MUCH appericated!!!
