I think it will depend on the way they make their crowns. Some dentists make them in their office (usually with a Cerec machine), others prefer to have the crowns made by a specialist at a dental lab. If its made in their office it would probably be 1 visit, if it has to go to the lab it would probably be 2 visits. Like anything else, there are pros & cons to each method.
