Has anybody had upper abdomen lipo done with TT?

I hear you have a chance of tissue dying after this process, per my surgeon. Has anybody done upper abdomen lipo along with their tummy tuck? Did you have any problems with healing?

My PS stated the same as yours but it can be done just limited as to maintain circulation. You can see in my pictures where he did do lipo in the upper abs. He didn't do any lipo immediately to the R and L of my center for added circulation. I will be 4WPO tomorrow and no issues so far in that area.

Thanks everybody! I am having it done, i was just wondering. All the reading sounds pretty positive as long as you dont smoke or have any cardio problems.

I had it done, but only a week ago, so can't tell you any results.

There's lots of info available, so read it all, and decide from that.

I had some upper ab lipo done along with my tummy tuck. No problems at all & excellent results! Very fast healing and very little swelling. However I had the no-drain quilting stitch procedure.

Having lipo (including upper ab lipo) done concurrently with a tummy tuck is very common. Here are a few doctors discussing this issue. Hope this helps!
