Upper abdomen large after mini tummy tuck

I am 1 week out of a mini tummy tuck surgery. My lower abdomin looks great. However, it is now grossly inproportinate with my upper abdomen. My upper abdomen is very hard and sticks out way beyond my lower abdomen. Will this go down with time? Or, if I loose more weight will it eventually come into proportion? Prior to this surgery I had lost 123Lbs. I now weigh 235lbs. 5'8".

My Dr 'snuck' around my belly button and did some muscle repair in upper abs to make sure my upper stomach didn't stick out. You might just be swollen...i

Hi Mike, I don't know about losing more weight, but most doctors conclude that bulging upper abs after a mini tummy tuck is due to lax muscles that haven't been repaired above the umbilicus.
