Upcoming DIEP flap reconstruction - what questions should I ask and what will recovery look like?

I have just completed 4 rounds of chemo and am hoping to schedule my double mastectomy and DIEP flap reconstruction at the end of Jan. Can anyone tell me what questions I should have for my PC. Can you also tell me what recovery will look like. I am 62 yrs old and otherwise healthy. thanks, nbr
