Hey Ladies!

Thank you for all of your honest and wonderful responses.  Hands down a Tummy Tuck is well worth the money and for more than one reason!

All of your names were entered in the drawing and the winner of the $20.00 gift card is......

newmomat37    Congratulations your gift card is on it's way.

My lower back had been causing me terrible pain for over a year, and was getting worse daily. My back doctor tried injections of different kinds and finally prescribed pain medication and said, "best of luck."
I began to study reasons for the pain. Lo and behold, it came down to support. After a couple of babies, my muscles had separated and no longer offered my spine the support it needed. Additionally, I had that dreaded mid-section menopause spare tire, which caused it to pull even harder on my spine.
Long story short: I had my tummy tuck and I'm all better. No joke. My back has not hurt AT ALL even once since my surgery. I look fantastic; I've lost my spare tire; and my self-esteem is through the roof.
Was it hard? Yes. Was it expensive? Yes. Was it worth it? YES. Would I do it again? ABSOLUTELY.
I don't think it's a waste of money. I believe a lot of people have a misconception on what a tummy tuck really is. I have to admit I was one of those people. After having children and doing research, I found out the truth. I had a serious muscle separation and the weight of my internal organs spilling over was causing other problems. This is more than just a purely "cosmetic" surgery. For several women, it is necessary.
I had a 4 inch muscle seperation according to my PS. So, no it was not a waste of money. What was a waste of money was buying ugly clothes trying to hide my stomach that looked 5 months pregnant.
We each have our own priorities when it comes to money. Some think pedicures are a waste of money, coloring one's hair, eating out, etc.
I don't judge how another spends their hard earned money and I could not care less what someone thinks about my spending on a tummy tuck! :)
Is it a waste of money? Absolutely not!!! I will tell you what is waste of money, the two years I spent paying gym membership fees and working out constantly to try and repair the damage that two pregnancies did to my abdomen. Surgery is the only thing that will bring those muscles back together, and help this mama look as good on the outside and I feel on the inside!

Heck no!!!  A Tummy Tuck is an excellent idea to rid yourself of the muffin top and extra skin.   This is a decision that women should be proud of.  There is nothing wrong with wanting to feel and look good.
