Tighttness and pain four months after tummy tuck

I am 4.5 Months post op from a tummy tuck (Mercator Style Abdominoplasty). My core is still extremely tight and numb. I can't sleep on my stomach, it is still hard to get up if I'm laying flat on my back. I work out regularly and am still very limited to core exercises because it is so tight and causes pain (ie push ups, crunches, plank etc are IMPOSSIBLE...) IS THIS NORMAL? I am starting to get concerned and would like to know how long I should expect this for.

Extreme tightness and numbness is common after a tummy tuck. Four months does seem excessive though. I would contact your plastic surgeon with your follow up questions.
