Tummy Tuck, Breast Aug + Lift and Circumfrantial Vaser Lipo

By Bec from Aussie on 08 Apr 2011

Hi. I am booked in to get Tummy Tuck, Breast Aug + Lift and Circumfrantial Vaser Lipo in September with Dr Whitoon in Sept over in Thailand. I wear REALLY baggy clothes to hide the rolls. My Questions are: How much size differance will i see after the operation? Should I take Smaller sized clothing or not bother because of the swelling? How long will the swelling (approx) last? I return home to my husband 2 weeks after. Will I be able to find something cute for him to pick me up from the airport? If you had similar surgery what size were you pre and post op? Wow so many questions but sooooo glad i found this website. THanks Heaps Bec

Hi Bec,

Welcome to RealSelf!

How much difference you see is dependent on how much you're getting removed, but don't expect to see a huge difference right away because of the swelling. You'll be most comfortable in baggy clothes like sweat pants and loose t-shirts because your entire abdomen will be sore. Waistbands with an adjustable string-tie are your friend. :)

Kimmers' Tummy Tuck Survival Guide has a really helpful shopping list.

Good luck and please keep us posted!
