Tummy Tuck and Breast Augmentation

I recently lost 80 pounds.. still need 15 more to go to reach my goal.. It took me 2 years and now I am almost there. I hate my body now, it makes me depressed what happens to it after you have been morbidly obese for almost 20 years. I want a tummy tuck and a breast Augmentation, but want a very good surgeon. I want the minimal scar in my adomenal area. I live in Windsor, Ontario and I would go in the detroit area and as far up as Toronto. Does anyone have any pictures and feedback? It is all overwhelming for me.. Would greatly appreciate it. If I am spending this kind of money I need to do my research, it took me twenty years to get here and I am ready for this change in my life. Thank-you so much.

Was just wondering for anyone who has seen Dr Niessen how much the tummy tuck cost?

I had a tummy tuck with Niessen, but no lipo suction. The cost was 5900, i had done my research and two consults with two different doctors. His was two hundred more. The other dr was Adams and I seen the belly button and I wanted mine to look really good and it does. Nobody can tell that I had it rebuilt.... This procedure is painful but well worth it, I am over 3 months post op and have some numbness under the navel area but other than that healed very good. Good luck

Thank you for your reply. Did you choose not to have the lipo or did you not need it? I have lost about 70 lbs and cannot seem to get rid of this excess skin and fat around my abdomen. The only thing that stops me from doing this is that i have not had children yet and worry that if i decide to someday, i may ruin the results. But, i am getting married in June 2014 and want to look and feel my best

I thought I had fat but I didn't it was just skin so he didn't have to do it.... there was a large about of skin that look like a huge hunk of fat hanging but I didn't need it. It is very painful and a long recovery. If it was me I would wait until I have children because your muscles will stretch and your stomach and the amount of money you spend and the pain you go through it should only be once. If you are worried about that wear spanx they help keep you controlled.. congrats on the 70 pounds, good for you!! if you have anymore questions let me know

I finally did it, October 30th, 2012 Breast lift and tummy tuck. Its 4 days post op and I am getting very restless. My mind wants to move and my body says no. I have been pretty much in the same position since surgery other than to go to the restroom. (pillows behind my back and 2 under my legs). I am wondering how long I have to do this for. I don't want to keep taking pain medication, but it still hurts quit a bit in the lower abdomen area. I have a girdle on and bandage from neck down to my vajj. I am anxious to see everything and get the draining tubes removed. I will see the doctor Nov.6th and he will decide, I really want to take a shower. This procedure is painful, but as long as I stay still it doesn't hurt. I pray that everything looks ok and that the outcome is what I expect when it is all said and done. I am so glad you were able to get it done!!! Recovery can be tough, but be patient. I had mine on the 25th of October and have no regrets. I would love to follow your progress. If you decide to write a review on here, let me know. ;-)

Hi yellowbird, Congrats on your weight loss!!! That is amazing! I don't really know of any PS (plastic surgeons) in the areas you mentioned. Have you started a review?
