Hi! I am having a special custom bed made. Where I can lay on a low beach chair position with a hole on the butt area, only the hips and high legs touching. Some arm rest to help hold me. I will let you know how this bed works for me. I'm having my second opinion consultation tomorrow.

Was curious how the custom bed turned out? Getting ready to go thru Tt/LIPO/BBL and am worried about recovery

I'm taking an inner tube keeps pressure off ass and hips and I'll be in a reclined position which is optimal for tt recovery

i want to say thank you for posting about ur recovery. seems tt w/ bbl combos are becoming more popular. im having both may 11th and am very excited for results and nervous about pain

Congrats to your upcoming surgery, it seems eveyone has different recoveries so it's hard to know what to expect. When I first started researching it seemed like the first 3-4 days would be the worst and then it would go smoothly after but that has hardly been my case. Now after my surgery many people say how they haven't been in much pain and it was a lot easier than expected, so I wish that on you. I guess I was just being naive as to what I tummy tuck really consists of and as far as my bbl to be honest you can't even tell so I will have to re-do that procedure but I'm hesitant on going through another surgery although I'm positive it will be easier to have just the BBL then both, I think the tummy tuck is probably one of the most crucial types of plastic surgery as well as the same procedure done on your back, anyways good luck and keep me posted on how it goes.

My dear it is..I in no way by far expected the TT procedure recovery to be this daunting..The first 3-4 days were my best days. I am in week 4 of recovery and feel like crap, no energy, and just overall discomfort, I can't sleep..ugh just hate this recovery process. I had BBL, TT, and Lipo and want a round 2 BBL but I am terrified to go through this again

No because Im so numb I didn't feel it but I was scared. They just inserted a needle syringe and drained out the fluid but you dont feel anything down there since your so numb. Yeah my stomach near my public bone was so soft and swallon that drained about 40cc's.

The drained your stomach?? Did that hurt, omg I hope that doesn't happen to me although I just said how my stomach feels almost like a waterbed in there, lol.

Well my stomach still feels very tight too and it does feel like I pull on it when I turn. Today I didn't feel so good because I got my period so I felt so bloated and I had the garment off too. When I went to my PS I had some fluid in my stomach that they had to drain and that helped a little. I don't see a huge difference either.Yes the skin is gone but my stomach seems like its the same size but that from being swollen. I the massage is good for the swelling, fluid, and lipo area.

Well I still haven't used the bathroom, today makes day 6. I honestly didn't think the pain would last this long. i mean my stomach is very tight and uncomfortable, sometimes it feels likes I'm pulling on it when I get up or turn. When did you stop feeling irritation from your stomach? I'm hoping when I get these drains removed it will help, but will it still feel tight? I don't plan on going to get massages but my bf will give me a massage tonight, on my back and butt only I'm too scared to touch my stomach or anything near it. Actually I felt it last night and it's still numb I couldn't even feel my hand on my stomach. It's still very swollen, actually it feels like there's no difference so I'm praying that's just because it's swollen.

I wasnt able to use the bathroom until about day 6 and it didnt hurt, The only time I feel slight pain is if I cough, but it feels like the soreness of when you've workout your abs for the first time. Hang in there each day will get better. Are you planning to get massages because that might help too.I was determined not to stay in bed all day either so I think that helped.

Yes I know exactly what your referring to about the sleeping on the side, my thigh starts to hurt and becomes like a sharp pain so I have to keep switching. so my stomach is still very tight I can't do much still but the pain is going down. When we're you able to you the bathroom? (#2) and did it hurt? I'm just ready to get these drains out even though I'm scared that will hurt and I just want to be comfortable again, at the rate I'm going I don't see it happening anytime soon. This is becoming annoying and I don't now if I made the right decision but too late now, I just wish I could say it's been 3-4 months already!

Im so sorry to hear your having such a tough time, the price of beauty lol. My recovery has actually been really easy. I thought it would be horriable based on the info I got on here. My first day, I didnt feel any pain so I thought that maybe it was due to being medicated and that eventually it will kick in but it is now day 6 and I have had no pain at all. The worst part for me was the discomfort of sleeping on my side on my thigh after a few hours I had to shift to the other side. So during the night I am barely sleeping. I had my first massage yesterday and thlat wasnt bad either I had a few sore spots, but it made me feel great after. Last night I slept on the recyliner it was the first night since that Ive had the most amount of sleep. Today I got the drain out and didnt feel that either, my stomach is really numb so I don't feel much there either. I am pretty sure your recovery will get better, everyone is different you know. Just hang in there and think how great your gonna look at the end of this all!

Oh ok, I'm sure your bbl came out nice then bc that's plenty of cc's to fatten it up. lol...how was your recovery from the tummy tuck though? Because today is day 3 and i'm over this crap already. Well i've been very nausea today and I took some stool softner to see if it helps me use the bathroom. I'm tired of not being able to move around and I went for my follow up appt today and he only removed the pain pump, both drains are still in. He said on Mon we probably will only remove one and still have to keep the other one. I'm still too scared to look at my stomach because I'm sensitive and don't want it to cause me more pain. When will this crap get easier? Are you still in discomfort from the tummy tuck?

no, I did both sorry for the confusion. I always had a butt before, so my PS said that I had loose skin there too so he would give me the most he could which was 1000cc anything more could lead to a potential cyst not something I am willing to risk especially outside the US. So he said the fat will fill the loose skin already there so it might not be as big as I want. I told him I want big and round. I have hips and thighs so I wanted it to stand out. You can see my before pic on my profile, I havent uploaded after yet because I still have the drain and gauze and everything, but Im suppose to get it out today and get my garment so I will try to take some today.

Before my surgery I kindof had an hourglass shape and some butt, so when I seen my surgeon he told me that I have a great shape already so this will just improve it also that i had some butt but it was mainly full at the bottom. He said he gave me 1000ccs at the top on my butt. Its been hard to get a good look at it all because of all the gauze, draining, and stuff but while they gave me a sponge bath I got a glimpse in the mirror and my shape is beautiful. I have the two bumps of both sides of my hips where the incision begins and where it ends and Im a little freaked by that, but from what I have read on here that goes away and is just swelling which my PS told me too. As far as my butt it is very big (which I wanted) the only thing is that at the bottom it looks a little less flat because no fat was put there, but I believe and hope that when the swelling goes down, that it will even out. At least from what I read and some of the pictures.I am happy with my results its just hard to see the final outcome with all the factors like the swelling and bruising. So patience is the key right now, I just have to say its alot better then my body before!

so you only had the bbl done? well 1000 cc's is alot more than my 600, i'm going to get it done again because with the tummy tuck my doctor said it wasn't safe to try to put too much fat with all the blood lose I suffered. My butt is still swollen but no where near the size I wanted it. i don't want a huge butt, just a nice size especially because I have no hips.

I just has mine done on 4 days ago and I have to agree I thought it was gonna be painful based on the reviews and a patient I talked to while here. It was not at all painful, I thought that the meds would wear off and then I would feel the pain but nope! It has been an easy recovering for me thus far, the hardest part for me was the sleeping on the side. The last few days Ive barely splet because of the discomfort, I feel better when im up and walking. I just got back from my massage and that helped with the soreness of sleeping on my side.

You had both tummy tuck and bbl? How are the results on the BBL because I can't see a difference.....my pain pump has ran out i believe because I feel my tummy more and before it was numb to the point I felt nothing. I can't wait to get it removed tomorrow, I hate having these tubes sticking out of me!

correction - "you CANT sit on your butt"

I had a TT and BBL Feb 3, 2012...honestly I thought I had a very low pain tolerance, and on a level of 1-10, my pain was a 3. I will tell you that it's very, very uncomfortable, because you cant sleep on your tummy and you can sit on your butt, so sleeping sitting down on your side was tough, not painful but tough. You have to constently change sides so it becomes very annoying. At 1 week it got a bit better, and at 2 weeks I was at least sleeping on my bed on my side, laying down. I was a bit dissapointedwith BBL the first week, because I was really swollen, but at 2 weeks post op you start seeing your shape, so don't feel dissapointed if you don't see what you want to see in the mirror. Be patient...let me know if you have question, I know how you are feeling...suggestion...do buy a toilet raise, that was a life saver for me! Stay on top of your meds, and drink lots of water, and buy some Arnica Montana for the brusing.

Well my procedure was done yesterday, I must admit I do expect a lot more pain. I do have a pain pump which i believe is working most of the pain off and then of course my pill. i must say without my bf i definately could have done anthing at all! The BBL it's funny you mentioned being disappointed bc I also feel there's no change and my doctor explained it can talk a few week and for swelling to go down. But i'm nervous once rhe swelling is down it will be even smaller......

Really you noticed the bbl after a week? Bc mine looks the same maybe a little swollen but not bigger or to even be able to tell I got it done. I had 300 cc's injected in to each side, I thought maybe it wasn't enough. Its stressing me out because I feel like I need to do it again and I rather would not like to.....
