I am so confused. I am 46 mother of 4 and had a TT 2/13 with an umbilical float. I am not happy with the result and I have seen PS's and all give me such different answers. They all agree that doing a full TT could cause the BB to die. But one surgeon who has stellar credentials, Harvard grad, head of PS at a top notch hospital for 20 years, said the full TT is the only way to get the best result. He would do a delayed procedure before the full TT and has no concerns about the BB dying and he also would use iv sedation not general. Again, he is perfect on paper. And all of his patient reviews are perfect and I have been digging. Others have suggested refloating the BB as the skin above the BB is not a lot but there is some but most of the problem is the lower bulge and excess skin and dog ears. Help. I need to know if anyone has had a full TT after a float and how did it turn out?
