Anyone have a TT and not have drains?

I met with my PS and he said he uses a "new technique" (that he has been doing for about 3 years now) that does not require drains. I was excited to hear that, but as I am reading more and more on this site- which I am so happy I found!- I havent heard of a single person that didnt have drains. Has anyone else heard of this?   If you had no drains, how was your recovery? What was your experience?

I'm in total denial; I haven't done a thing to get ready . I'm counting on lots of help from my family, I guess!

Hi Im in the UK. Schedule for the 11th December. No drains for me. My PS hasn't left drains in for years apparently. No catheter either. He likes you up and out of bed as quickly as possible. However, it is usual practice to be kept in hospital for a couple of nights in the UK, defo dont send you home the same day. Its funny how things are different across the pond. Good luck !

If you want more info, try googling "tummy tuck quilting sutures." I've done a fair amount of research and am going that route.
