Hello all. I have (2) more consults (I had 3 thus far) before I finalize my PS decision. I'm so excited about this upcoming venture, hoping to have my surgery late July, early August. I'd love some advise...not sure how to address my time off at work (my office is really close knit). I wanna say I'm having surgery, however not comfortable sharing details. Suggestions, PLEASE???

Welcome to RealSelf! If you think it'll fly, you might want to tell them you're having some reconstructive work done (which you pretty much are, right?).

It looks like I may have an umbilical hernia and it's my understanding that it can be repaired during my TT. So I just may have my medical leave excuse :)...YIPPEE!!
