My advice, Don't Use Sculptra! Even if the complication rate is 20% and it is higher then that based on the documents provided to the FDA, you can not be fixed. Permanent fillers cause permanent problems. It all depends on how your immune system responds. Also, the injector. Most people who have posted about "difficult to manage" complications were done by board certified PSs or derms. The Dr always tells you how great he is and he never has any complications. This is not true in many cases. Also, a good Dr. will know that sculptra is risky for many many years after treatment.. Do yourself a favor and use something much safer like Juvaderm. At least if that goes wrong you will suffer for a year at most Sculptra victims suffer for YEARS. I know, I am one of them.

I had sculptra done in 3 installments several weeks apart. It definitely helped my sunken cheeks and the hollow temple area and mid face. It's very important that you go to a doctor who is skilled in sculptra and has done this procedure many times. the procedure is uncomfortable. No pain killers or numbing cream. Not necessary.

I 'm Marina two months ago i have sculptra under my eye and i have alot of problem now .I still have allergy bomp and big lamp it is bothering my eye .My doctor don't want even talk to me i went to see some other doctor they didn;t help me they said i have to go back to that doctor who ingected but my doctor in miami i am in new jersey.I need your help, what i can do?Please help me

I'm thinkg about getting Sculptra for sunken cheeks and chin area. Does anyone in the NYC area have any experience with this? I very confused from all the different postings and I don't want to do anything that will make thing
s worse.

Welcome to the community lisakb!

You can look for doctors in your area by clicking on the Find a Doctor tab near the top of the screen. You can then search by area, and further narrow your search by either specialty or procedure.

It can seem confusing when you are first researching treatment options. What I would recommend is keep doing research until you have found an answer you feel completely comfortable with. Researching can take many forms, including reading reviews, articles, posting in forums, visiting doctors to get personal consultations, etc.

Don't use sculptra. Can be more complications for long time. It is now over three months and no results from 2 treatments and 2400.00 later. Who knows what can happen in the future,yrs later from this treatment which the docs don't tell you about. Fred
