What are the MUST HAVE items to have on hand before surgery?

I would like to have on hand all items needed after a BR. What did you find that you really needed and helped you once getting home. I will not be in the hospital over night, I will be coming straight home. I don't want my husband running out trying to buy things that I may need later.  Thanks you for the help and support.
