8% tca peel under eye ruined skin

I had an 8% tca peel done under my eye by my dermatologist for hyper-pigmentation. She did 4 passes , I do not remember her neutralizing it but I figure she must know what she is doing. Since then my skin looks thinner and I can see little fine lines in the area of the peel. They are in kind of weird shapes. I did not have any of this before. It looks as though there is a layer of thin , fine lined skin in the area now. It has been 2 1/2 months. I have been leaving it alone and just being gentle with it but I dont know if this counts as scarring. I would not think a peel would cause fine lines. Has this happened to anyone and did it get better with time. I also got my hyper-pigmentation now and I cant tolerate hydroquinone  so I am not sure what to do. Does anyone have any advice?
