So I tried to do the home tattoo removal through salabrasion and scrubbed for over 40 minutes with absolutely 0 results....So I, stupidly, decided to try and chemically burn my skin (yes I know it would scar) and dabbed bleach over the area several times until I couldn't handle it.. repeated approximately 4-5 times. After that I wrapped my arm with salt on the area and waited 10 minutes ( I got too curious). Then redid the salt wrap for an hour, then once more for an additional hour...I had noticed my arm swelled up some. Before I placed my last wrap, I had noticed the skin throughout the center was bright red but not bleeding so I applied some Neosporin. Posted in the picture. So I slept through the night and then woke up, put saran wrap around my arm and took a shower. Removed the wraps and washed my arm with antibacterial soap, which seemed to burn pretty bad so I rinsed it a lot faster than I wished. Applied Neosporin again but now after the overnight wrest, my arm was no longer this bright red but the swelling is still present. My question.... has anyone performed this at home and had success?? If so, then I'm clueless as to what I'm doing wrong (besides being desperate and trying bleach). Also has anyone done tattoo excision? What did you pay for the procedure?
