There are no known risks to inhaling sunless tanning solutions, providing the particle size and the amount inhaled is below a certain level. I know that MagicTan has conducted inhalation & ocular testing on the products used by MagicTan spray tanning booths and the Infinity Sun spray tanning systems. If the eyes are kept closed, there should not be any issues. However, the FDA recommends that anyone who spray tans should wear eye coverings, nose plugs, and protect the mucus membranes, by wearing protective lip balm and under garments.
