Will the swelling from tip rhinoplasty go down?

2 weeks ago, I had surgery done on the tip of my nose. I had a crease in between my nostrils. Right above the "crease" there was also a lack of cartlidge, so the surgeon was going to try to make my lower bridge of my nose more even.He was able to fill in that "gaps"and I can't remember what material he used to fill in these "gaps". The problem is, my nose tip looks rounder, bigger, it is harder, and it turns slightly upward. Will this go down and look "normal"? I feel like ugly Ikabod with a swollen nose tip.

I had rhinoplasty in March, and I know it's obviously still swelling and healing, which will take up to many weeks. My surgery was done to remove my bump and I had a down turned tip. I've been reading that after swelling, the tip goes down, and one of my whole reasons for surgery was to make my tip straight! I'm worried that it will go down again! Because right now from the side the bump is gone, but the tip looks huge.

It takes 6-12 months for the tip swelling to go down. Be patient and it should be fine. What you have is normal for the time period.
