When does swelling start to end

Ok I am 3 weeks post op. On Monday i had start resuming mommy duties. I only pick my 10 month old in and out of her crib. By the end of the day I am so swollen. Now I know three weeks is still early but around how long does swelling last.
I'm sorry you're in the midst of swell hell! That sounds rough.
