I am scheduled to have lower eyelid surgery on August 6th, but the doctor's scheduler says that the time of the surgery can not be confirmed until the day before. This makes it difficult in regards to scheduling childcare. I'm just wondering if this is routine practice, for the doctor to call the evening before to tell you when you have to be at the surgery center. It seems extremely inconvenient for the patient.....were any of you given firm times farther in advance? Thank you!
