Surgery and fat on side of breast

During a breast reduction is the fat on the side of your boobs (the fat or skin right under armpit) removed or tightened as well? The fat that hangs over the bra? Also what about the fat on the back? Is that tightened up also? I don't have so much of it, but it annoys me.

I'm believe that was total not to sure... As far as the insurance I don't know what they require but I do know it's all in how your PS rights it. I went to see my PS one time and 4wks later they called and said I was approved. Didn't feel anything at all of course I was knocked out -my surgery took 4hrs total and when I came thru I was in recovery drugged up so I still didn't feel any pain. They was feeding me ice chips because your throat will be sore from the tube and I had feelings of nausea so they gave me something in my IV and yes I had drains for 2days and my PS had me record how much was coming out three times a day. The drains hurted when he took them out... So after about 2wks I would say its a lot of soreness not pain and laying on my back was the worst because I sleep on my side...

He took 800 out all together or each? I'm like 38ddd. I have bcbs empire. Ny. Did bcbs require a certain amt? I was already approved and was scheduled for last aug but had to cancel it because of one of my kids and I regret it. My sons communion party is next week and I am wearing strapless and I hate the big boobs. I especially hate the bat wings. I want the back roll taken care of but not at this surgery. Hoping maybe to drop a few once the boobs are smaller. I'm 5-4 160. But wide framed. Did the lipo hurt? Did u stay in hosp over night? Drains?

I feel good... The only reason why I took the whole six weeks off is because I work in the mental health field and my clients are aggressive so to be on the safe side my doctor kept me out. I was a 42DD and now I'm a 42D and exactly three weeks since my surgery. He told me he was taking 800cc's out and that I would be a Dcup before surgery because of my body type he didn't want to make me smaller because I wouldn't be perportioned..
I fine with it cause the lift really makes the difference so even being a D I can still go bra less if I chose...

Oh ok what state did I have it done in. I hope my dr does it I will pay extra but would rather not.

Thanks did the surgeon charge extra? Were u covered by insurance for breast red?

My insurance covered everything but $450... It didn't cost extra because that's part of his technique he said he doesn't like to cut far along the side so with that he does the lipo.

Hey Brooklyn8304,

I had my BR on April 24th and my doctor did do lipo on my sides.. He actually told me at my consultation exactly what he was going to do... I would ask your PS his technique because every doctor is different.
