Any suggestions on best way to deal with swelling?

I am 5 days post and my swelling is increasing.  I am much more mobile now too.  The bruising is worse, toward the lower part of my abdomen, pubic area and now going down the top of my legs.  I have upper lower and flanks done.  I am wondering what the suggestions might be to lesson the discomfort at this stage.  I am much more comfortable with my garment on and will most likely be one to continue it past the 2 weeks.
