I have used dermablend and found it smudgeproof and I live in the tropics! I think prep is very important. There are loads of videos on youtube but one suggestion that really worked for me (and my offending ink is on my hand and wrist so we've got a lot in common)...anyways one suggestion off of youtube that really worked was applying red lipstick/lip pencil to the entire design. It helps bring the tattooed area to a natural skin tone. I guess it doesn't work if you are African American or dark skinned. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9zHJ4ZzuLA I hope this helps. I also ordered "hide your ink" it's available on ebay and amazon. It is a skin coloured temporary tattoo. You can order a sample which comes with six different shades. I've used it and it is incredible, you can apply powdered concealer on top of it. It stays on for days and days and is removed with oil. Hope all of this helps and good luck with the coverage and good luck with your interview. How exciting!

Thanks dear! Will do as you stated but what lipstick/pencils can I use as an African, colour firstly to trace the colour? Before concealing it.

It seems your hand would be a difficult place to conceal a tattoo on long term since the makeup would come off when you washed your hands, but perhaps some of the water resistant formulas would work.

I know its not the exact information you are looking for, but I thought this Q&A might have some helpful things for you to know:

can you wear makeup over your tattoo (such as dermablend) in between treatments

the tattoo is on the upper hand......yeah how can i get the dermablend? i'm from Nigeria

Bandage your hand with gauze and, if asked, say you burned yourself while baking - in the meantime continue with the laser removal. Good luck.

Thks but those officials knows about bandage because it stated noted: no tattoos no bandage or makeup....was even thinking of makeup

Unfortunately I don't know much about the product. Another community member had submitted that Q&A. I would do a Google search for it and hopefully you can find a way to get it. :)

You could order dermablend directly from their website. http://www.dermablend.com/percentoffer.aspx?cm_mmc=LabeliumSearch-_-GoogleBrand-_-Dermablend+Brand-_-dermablend&gclid=CJO40tmoibYCFYdxQgodIT0ALQ There are also skin covers that can be applied like a bandage. Tatjacket Eclipse is one, it can be found at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0081JTP9O/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2D249MY96OM9A "Hide your ink" is another http://www.hideink.com/ I would also suggest bangles/bracelets. You should only wear cover makeup after the laser session is healed as it can imbed/slow healing. Removing the makeup disturbs the skin layer/dermis. Good luck.
