I am having my surgery done on Feb 26th and I am preparing for the post op part of it. My Dr. suggested "Bariatric Fusion" Vitamins but I have been reading that they really do not meet the post op standards for recommended or suggested daily values for after surgery needs. HELP!!!!! Any suggestions? What worked for you???????

My doc recommends centrum complete chewable, it's nasty! But is only 5cal, where they said the gummy is hard on the stomach in the beginning and the gummed are 35 cal.

Try Zeal for Life Wellness drink! I am having great results with it. A few acquaintances have had the sleeve done and are drinking the Zeal wellness drink and they feel better, have more energy, and lab work is coming back better! Zeal also makes protein shakes that come in a bottle or in a bag for you to mix that taste really great! www.zhealthforlife.com

Hi there, welcome!

I take the VitaFusion Women's Gummies. I take 2, twice per day, as well as other things, such as Biotin (for hair loss), Vitamin D and a pill to control stomach acid.

Good luck with your surgery!

kirsty does that VitaFusion have about the same nutria value as the bariatric advantage multivitamin? That's what I was given in my post-op kit by my doc/nutritionalist and I take 2 a day, but they are disgusting !!

Hey there, I've just looked the BA up online and they seem to have a lot more in them that the Vitafusion, which is probably why they don't taste as good. Have you tried the different flavours?

No haven't tried anything else because I still have quite a bit left in the kit I got....I know some folks seem to do okay on kids chewables but I will just probably stick it out with the nasties until they are all gone and then try something different.

What flavor do you currently have?

A lot of doctors (mine included) said that the Flintstones vitamins were also okay to use.
