How to: stop a SNEEZE!!!

My husband taught me how to stop a sneeze and I'm 4 days PO and have used it a number of times and wanted to share it with my fellow TTers. When you feel the sneeze approaching quickly and firmly apply your index finger right beneath your nose (above you lips) and press hard. Keep pressing until the urge goes away.   Happy Healing!

Thanks! I am going to try that. I am 7 weeks post op but it still hurts and I think I am getting a cold as I have been wanting to sneeze more lately! I can't wait till that hurt goes away :-)

I just wanted to revisit this to say a huge THANK YOU for posting this. I read it before having my TT and made a note of it. I even tried it a few times before TT to see if it worked and it did. Since I had my TT, I've used it several times. I heard how painful it is to sneeze and I'm fortunate enough to say I haven't had to experience it thanks to you. Now if I could just learn how to not cough or laugh... :-)
