Would you consider staying awake for your breast augmentation?

Check out this story about a new surgical procedure called Awake, where the patient is sedated and given local anesthesia. It sounds harsh.

That article was interesting to me because I had no idea so many US doctors were not board certified!! But no, the anesthesiologist is a very important part of the surgery. I would do it with twilight surgery at very least.

OMG, no! Not for me. I would definitely need to be knocked out. :) I don't have any trouble with surgery per se but I'd rather not know that it's happening.
