has anyone had to stay in a hotel for a week after surgery?

im flying to a different surgery for a mommy makeover and my doctor wants me to stay there in a hotel for a week. i want to know if anyone has done this or has any tios
I have heard of several women staying in a hotel after surgery. Make sure you have all the supplies you need for the first week. Also make sure someone is staying with you. You definitely don't want to be alone.
