Where to Stay After Rhinoplasty in San Diego?

I'm considering flying to San Diego to have rhinoplasty. I would need to be there for ten days for the follow up visit with the surgeon. I am looking at a nurse service for the first night or two after surgery. Where would be a nice place to stay for those ten days? I'd like somewhere relaxing with good fresh food. And where I wouldn't scare the other guests if I went poolside under an umbrella with a big sun hat, SPF 60.

Love this question! I've been to San Diego many times, but haven't stayed in hotels. You might want to contact your potential surgeon's office to see if they have any recommendations for you.
