sex... when did you start?

Hello ladies! Since my TT my husband has been giving me the "look" and asking me every night when will we be able to have sex again. Just wanted to know how long did you wait before you had sex after your TT. thanks. :)

oh and my ps also said don't do anything that makes you breath hard.. aka strenous

19 days post op for us.. was super cautious but it all worked out well. :) My dh was just as nervous as me... 2nd time 3 1/2 wks was better.

A friend who had a TT said her surgeon told her to keep her heart rate down: so sex but no heavy breathing (at least for her).LOL

5 days PO. Side lying, rear entry. I was still, but hubby had fun. I had this overwhelming need to be touched after sleeping in the recliner for 5 nights, and wanted to give him a treat cause he deserved it. I was very careful and it did not hurt a thing. If you are careful and creative you can still have fun.

I am so glad that you all are talking about this. I have surgery scheduled for October 15th, and I was worried about this. I didn't even think to ask the doctor whenever I scheduled the surgery, and of course my husband wanted to know how long we would have to wait after I returned from the appointment. This certainly gives me a better idea, but I will also ask my PS just to be on the safe side.

This is a funny thread! I have been on my period for the past week and poor hubby has been without. I go in for surgery on the 5th so I'm going to have to give it to him left and right until then. I told him it would be at least 2 weeks post op until he saw any more action!

1 week here. AMA=against medical advice But, I think listening to your own body is better. For me, getting active (including sexually) after my tummy tuck sped up my healing.

So glad to come across this because my tt is scheduled for September 13th and I was wondering how I would go about asking about it, lol. My original thought was it would probably be easiest with me on top for the first venture but come to think of it... that's hip stretching to straddle so I'm glad I read this... doggy style it is!!

Slide your bum to the edge of the bed with legs bent and have your hubby stand beside the bed. Doggy style lets your tummy hang unsupported.

Wow ladies, my tt is tomorrow and my husband already asked me how long will it be before we have sex. I figured 2 weeks, if I have to then we will result to other measures. I am scared now about the contraction of the abdominal. Well good for you guys that done and the ones that have nt good too. The husbands can wait. Have a good day

Well, I found other ways to keep my hubby happy until - was feeling well enough some doggie style, it's been 28 days and my pubic area is still very tender so. I think I'll wait one more week for the normal activity.

I feel so silly looking this up and even reading it, but my husband is all over me like white on rice and its getting kind of annoying esp. since im only 9 days PO - sheesh its not like he hasnt had to wait ever. When he got fixed we had to wait like a month lol

..i know i couldnt wait...well anyways i am 2nd week post op today and had my drains tooken out today as well but damnnnnn doggy style was best for me LOL
