How can I tell if my shoulder and back pain is caused by my 38DD breasts?

By Greenwood5237 on 19 May 2011

I have experienced pain in my back for as long as I can remember. I experience pain that I know is definitely caused by my breasts when I stand for too long or do not have adequate support. However, I also experience soreness, particularly in my shoulders, constantly. I have tried many things to eliminate this (including getting a new mattress, exercising, massages, stretching), but any relief is short lived. How can I tell if my breast size is the culprit here?

The way I know is: if I go all weekend without a bra I start to feel better. By Monday afternoon my clavicles, shoulders, and mid back are killing me.

Do you have deep grooves in your shoulders from your bra straps?   If so this is caused by the heavy breasts and could be causing your shoulder pain.

Try wearing a really heavy duty support bra  with padded straps for a while and see if this helps.  I am talking one of those 10 point restraint bras..not pretty but they help.  This is what I did and it actually helped my shoulders...short term.  That is how I knew the pain was from my breasts.
